"I cannot see." Callista stared at her in confusion as the entire foyer fell silent. And across the room, Zeno's heart pounded. He wanted to see Callista's reaction. Perhaps, a small part of him even wanted to be proven right for feeling disappointed when he discovered his mate was blind. "I am blind," Solena finally admitted. Callista's eyes widened. She looked closely at Solena's eyes, noticing how unfocused they were. It was true. Her goddess given mate was blind.
