It was perfect. Baron had this in his mansion? I walked through the garden running my hands through the flowers, feeling the wind on my face and the sun shine brightly on me. I felt alive and free. I sat down and spotted something hopping around. I looked closer and saw that it was a bunny. I gestured for it to come closer and it did. I carried it up and placed it on my lap, gently stroking its soft white fur. It looked like a mythical creature with its big beady eyes and small nose.

A female voice enters my head, just as I strike the beast in what I hoped was the heart. “Kendra?” It releases the grip on my neck, dropping me to the floor. The beast stumbles backwards, pulling the blade from its chest. Spurts of deep crimson shoot out from its skin as my blade clatters to the floor. The beast starts to change, the hair falling out in tufts, the black skin turning white as the beast becomes human. Her honey eyes find mine, her brow dimpled in a frown. “Kendra?” she coughs up blood as she looks at me. Her eyes full of sadness.

I open my mouth to ask about it when I hear Beau’s voice. “Ready?” I turn and look at him. Unsurprisingly, he’s standing next to a woman. He’s always surrounded with women. However, this woman’s different. Sharp, pointed ears poke out from behind her hair. Her skin has a slight blue tint to it and her eyes are near white. A mage. I’d never seen one in real life before. I sense myself starring and immediately look back to Beau. “Ready?” I question. “For the ritual,” he goes on. He motions to the mage. “Armanda will be performing it.”

I take a few steps back to examine the entire picture. I'm Marinah the Warrior, and for the first time in my life, this body feels... perfect. "Okay, Ms. Beast," I say reluctantly. The illusion magic worked wonders as expected because Cara grew in size, just like the beast. “This size feels so incredible, and I love it,” she muttered, then let out a growl as she moved closer to the beast. She let out a deafening growl that shook the room and attacked the beast, hitting it hard in the face.

The very notion sent a hot wave rolling through her, and she smiled, but then an edge of apprehension caused her stomach to clench. “Don’t I look awful?” she asked, feeling her face, the bandage, and then her head where her hair had been cut by the burn unit to save her scalp. “Mira,” he whispered, pecking her in between each word. “You are beautiful. I’m hard for you.” He took her hand and placed it over the bulge beneath his slacks, breathing his final statement, “I want to fuck you. Let me make you feel good. Let me help you forget all this shit you are going through, at least for a little while.”

As my head of guard, she shouldn’t worry herself about any needs other than my need to kill that behemoth. Harriet walked forward when I didn’t respond and ran her fingers down my arm, “Please, sire. Allow me to help you.” She grasped my hand and led me slowly toward the bed, looking back at me with lust in her pale brown eyes. The beast inside of me was on edge still, he needed to let his anger out, and although I refused to release my frustrations on any members of my pack, today he dismissed my usual excuses.
