Logan’s POV

She had given herself to him. I could smell his stench all over her as I held her close. But she would be mine again soon enough.

She doesn’t scream, she doesn’t fight me, even when I pin her against the door. She doesn’t even try to link Blake. In fact she does everything that I ask.

Pulling her out of the window, I drop us to the ground. Checking that we were entirely alone before heading into the forest.

Blakes men were stupid. They were easy enough to get past undetected. It helped that Lana followed me like a sheep. That she did everything I asked.

Pushing her into the back seats of my hidden jeep, she still remains quiet. There was no heavy breathing, there weren’t even any tears. She looks back over her shoulder as I drive away from the new pack that Blake had created.

“Don’t you dare link him.” I warn her. If she had already done so, there would be no chance that I would get out of the pack grounds alive.
