The scene inside hit me like a slap. Soft candlelight. A small, round table set for two with a white linen cloth, real silverware, and a bottle of red wine already breathing. The smell of garlic and herbs wafted from covered dishes on a sideboard. Romantic music played low from a hidden speaker. And there he was, standing by the table, pouring a glass of wine. Matt.
