"What is it?" I smiled. "I may find my prince someday, but you'll always be my king." Dad's eyes immediately turned glassy. "So dramatic," he muttered, though he was smiling. "I love you so much, Dad." He pulled me into a hug.

The Prince said with a pause “I want the girl and I will have the girl, or is the request too much for you.” “N-n-no your highness it just wasn’t expected that’s all.” The request surprised him too, he never came here with the intention of going back with a slave, it was a mere chore visiting the blood bank system but after seeing the strange violet eyed girl and tasting her blood, he knew he had to have her for himself.

Her eyes meet his as a small smile graces her face. “I am Corbin, Corbin is me. We have been one and the same since the beginning of time.” Comes the strange voice as she looks at each one of the faces around her. “You must, by now know about the prophecies that have already come to pass. Each and everyone of you have been apart of them.” She stops and looks at Hascal lying on the floor. His head in his mother’s lap. “This darkness…. It is the same darkness that has come to pass the last time I was awakened. It is why our mother created us. As with great light comes great darkness. It is the balance of the universe. When the darkness is fed to much then the light has to beat it back.”

"Take your men and wipe out the goblins below us. There's another force coming up that wooded hill to our right, they're mine." Rhett swung his arms back and forth and rolled out his neck. "You got it; I hate those slimy fuckers." As Rhett signaled his men and they crept down to the valley, Damien reached inside the minds of his men and told them about the surprise awaiting them. Damien walked out and stood at the edge of the hill. He bent his neck from side to side then shook out his hands. As the first wolf appeared from the forest, Damien closed his eyes. He waited until the hillside was littered with as many men as possible, he could see each of their faces and the whites of their eyes.

In search of me, darkness bled into the air, tendrils of shadows lashing and twisting to strangle the winds and capture whatever they might be hiding. A giant wave of shadows crashed onto the prince. In a flash, he drew his moonlit sword and severed the dark wave in two. “ALPHA ASHER HAS LOST CONTROL!” His scream ripped through the shrieking howls of Madness, delivering the warning to the other celestials. “THE THRONE MADNESS HAS TAKEN OVER HIM COMPLETELY! THE OBSIDIAN THRONE IS IN THE MORTAL REALM—UGH!” The split dark wave whirled back together, twisting into a wild typhoon. It swallowed the prince and then hurled him across the graveyard.

Eventually, the 68th prince concedes. The black pit that ate the surrounding planetoids slowly shrinks. The golden light recedes its brightness to conserve power. The darkness continues to become smaller and smaller until it turns into one entity. A handsome man with coal-colored skin appears. His body is almost invisible due to a shadow that eats the light that hits its body. Slowly but surely, the shadow becomes a luxurious modern suit. The 68th prince smiles, releasing smoke out of its mouth. It speaks without the gurgling noise.

he whispered, his voice hoarse as we reached the peak together. “Darlon...” I whispered back. And with that, we both came undone, collapsing onto his bed. The shadows crept back in, reminding me of whom he truly was. He was the prince of Umbra, a dark mage cloaked in shadow. Yet something inside me told me that wasn’t the whole truth—that I’d walked into a trap I couldn’t escape. But even so, I was inside him now—inside his head, his room, his heart. And the words he spoke, carried by those ocean-green eyes, kept swirling in my mind, telling me things weren’t as they seemed.

No, no, no It’s not worth getting caught nor lost in this weird game when I don’t even know what’s supposed to happen in here exactly. A black mask, matte and sharp against the glow. His arms are crossed, posture loose but coiled. The dark fabric of his shirt blends into the shadows, the lamplight catching only the faint gleam of ink running from his left bicep all the way to his wrist.

he rasped. I felt the air in my lungs turn to frost. I didn't need to see the paper to know who it was. Their reactions could only mean it was him. "It’s Prince Draven, isn't it?" I asked. My voice sounded small and far away. My father slowly nodded his head. It was official. I wasn't marrying the nice prince. I was being handed over to the Dark Prince. The man with white eyes and the man that no woman has ever survived.

I motioned my Elven cloth, connecting it with my chakra… Didn’t know if it had to do with Maya’s absence but I was thirsty to destroy… To ruin… The demons transformed fully with an aim to bring me down, head-on. “How dare you call us novices? Who do you think you are, huh!!” “The Dark Prince.” “Dip.Shit… he’s the fucking dark prince.” I hit one of the demons with my darkness, with a mischievous grin. “Run for your life!!!” One said and that splitting second, the demons turned into a tornado, running to hell. I stepped inside the boundary they were blocking, saying the words…
