Rhett looked around the table at the extra-spicy buffalo wings, beef and spinach sauté, dark squid, and the dreaded blue cheese. His knuckles went pale around the fork, and his eyes clouded. He took up the squid and devoured it without making a face in front of three pairs of eyes. This was the first time in his life that he had ever eaten something so repulsive.
