The mixture hisses when it hits the heat, releasing a bitter scent. On the corner of the table sits a small glass container. Inside, a blister beetle crawls along the side. Irena lifts the lid and reaches in. The beetle climbs onto her fingers without hesitation, answering her call. “Good,” she murmurs. She holds the beetle over the bowl. It stays still, almost as if it understands. With a quick motion, she taps it gently, letting it fall into the mixture. The liquid reacts immediately, turning a deep green and bubbling harder.

But Honey is definitely not amused by the look on his face. Though it's hilarious to see such no-fun man is holding a fun bottle of cold water that has big googly eyes stuck in front of it, with the other items in the fridge are currently staring at him; I glued those eyes everywhere, even on the fruits and all sorts of food containers. Like the shower and the sink in the bathroom, it was motion activated.

Elon covered his nose, shouting, "Get that away from me! What the hell is that? It smells like crap!" Sherilyn waved her hand in front of her nose, trying to block the stench. "Why does it smell so bad? Elon asked for golden juice, not whatever this is!" Kaden explained calmly, "This is golden juice. Mr. Golding, you might not know this, but golden juice is made from freshly excreted human waste, boiled down. From a medical perspective, it does have strong detoxifying properties." Elon gagged again, his face turning pale. "Wait, are you saying golden juice is… human feces?"

I gave him a blank look. "What beetroot juice?" His brows furrowed. "The one the maids give you. They told me that you always finish it and never complain." I felt my stomach sink. "Blaze… I’ve never had beetroot juice before." His expression froze. A pause. A shift in the air. And then—something changed in his eyes. I watched as his jaw clenched slightly, his mind working through something I wasn’t seeing.

"But it all makes sense now, thanks to the truth beetles." "Okay, first, you're the one who brought the extra flask." Jinx pointed out, using the paw behind his back to start making a hole in the webs. "And those beetles are fucking liars. They're just trying to get one of us to kill the other so they can have a meal." Wound growled. "What makes you think I brought an extra flask? It's enchanted by your far too powerful friends!"
