Beginning Reader Chapter Books Novels & Stories

--- Lunch was whatever the fridge offered, assembled without planning, eaten at the counter because neither of us moved to the table. She talked about the new book while we ate. Not the content, not yet, but the structural question she'd been circling. Whether the return should happen in the first chapter or whether the whole first chapter should be the approach, the reader arriving with the character rather than after her. "The approach," I said. She looked at me. "If the question is what does a place hold, the reader needs to feel the arrival." I paused. "Not be told about it after the fact."

That means, you only have to pay $3 instead of $5 for the first month. I'm also trying to step out of my comfort zone, so I want to incorporate reading sessions with my readers. If you'll be interested in that, let me know and I can make plans for it. We can read one chapter per week or month, depending on what we agree on. The chapter to be read will be determined by you (the reader), of course. I'll do the reading or anyone else who shows interest for that week. I'll be looking forward to your comments on this. Have a great day!
