“Why are you back?” I stiffly changed the subject. Clayton approached me. “Now what the hell is this?” I leaned in. The liquid inside was a murky, greenish-blue, with tiny specks floating around in it. The sight of it sent an uneasy shiver down my spine. Abel didn’t touch it. “Whatever this is, it ain’t somethin’ you want gettin’ into your water.” I sat back, crossing my arms. “So it is poison. I was right.” “Could be. Could be worse.” “Worse?” I shot him a look. “What’s worse than poisoning an entire water supply?”

Something primal stirred inside me, an undeniable connection that transcended time and space. For so long, I believed my love for water was just a quirk, a fascination with shifting tides and gentle rains. But now, it's my lifeline, my element—the key to a power I am only beginning to understand. I closed my eyes, imagining how water swirled around me during thunderstorms, enveloping me in a cocoon of comfort when I felt most vulnerable. It was like a loving hug, offering safety, yet tinged with a simmering rage that often boiled over when I faced injustice.

I move my hand to the right and the ball speeds in that direction then i do the same left and again the ball goes where i want it so for the final test i zoom it over to Jerry and pops and splay my fingers outwards as if to release the ball, Jerry and pops splutter and wipe the water out of there eyes as they stand there soaking wet looking at me in amazement. I spend the rest of the afternoon practicing what i can do with water and have found that i can not only use water but theres other stuff i can do, for instance i wanted the chocolate bar Jerry was about to bite into, pops roared with laughter when he chomped into thin air whilst i tasted the chocolatey caramel, i can also sommon thing

Streaming tears cleansed her red cheeks. Few droplets remained, forgetting their way as the path was swept from beneath them, consequently blurring Raven’s vision, with waves of sadness only the broken encounter. The sadness drained through her spines rather than skating over her skin. It travelled through every cell to reach the ground.

I turned the knob from cold to hot water, and the warm liquid streamed over me as if cleansing my soul from the day's burdens. The water felt like a gentle caress on my skin, a tender embrace offering comfort. With each droplet, it was as if my tension melted away, unraveling the knots in my nerves. Even though I believed I had no tears left, they found their way out, mingling with the water. The pain of everything pressed on me, pushing me further into the abyss of my emotions.
