Silence swallowed the cavern. Then the ground exploded. A massive black claw burst through the stone floor. The impact sent everyone stumbling backward. Another claw followed, then another. The beast dragged itself from the darkness with a roar that made my blood run cold. It was enormous, twice the size of the First Wolf. Its body was covered in scales as black as midnight instead of fur. Jagged silver horns curved from its skull and its crimson eyes glowed with ancient hatred. Most terrifying of all, it had no pupils. Only endless red. The creature inhaled deeply, then its gaze locked onto me. "The Keeper..." Its voice sounded like rocks grinding together. "So the bloodline survived."

They will do anything to get to keep their mates for themselves. But I won't leave my family for any man. The brown one completely shifts his behavior now. He starts gently licking my wound, poking me with his nose, but I'm not having this shit. I growl, my lips baring sharp canines, ordering him to step the hell away from me. He seems not to care at all ant pokes me with his nose again. Like hell I am coming with you, stupid mutt. Seeing my stubbornness, he steps back and shifts to his human form. He is tall, really tall, with ivory hair and icy, wild eyes. A viking, my first thought was. ''Shift'' he orders me with a strange accent. No emotion in his voice.

Luckily they are all rank 2. Corpses kept on accumulating on the path he was treading on and red blood kept on flowing on the river at the center of the valley. At some point, an imponent figure appeared in front of her. Its body was eighteen meters long and four meters thick, it had three horns on its head and from its fangs was dripping a violet dense liquid. 'Rank 3 Horned snake!' Behind it, a handful of rank 2 horned snakes were coiled together looking in her direction.

He leans against the rock, trying to peek at what was behind the rock. A large creature the size of a gorilla, its head vaguely like the head of a horned goat with bright red eyes. “What is that thing?” The monster was a large bear-like creature with horns and stood on two legs. The abdomen was a bit slim in comparison to its really muscular arms and legs. It looked out of proportion with how different their sizes were. The horned bear let out a menacing roar. “It looks like a goabear. But something’s different. That thing in its chest.” Jean said as she stood up. It was as she said, there was an ominous blue glow in its left chest. From the Hunters’ perspective, it was really condensed with mana. As if the goabear was overflowing with power.

It was indeed the fastest time range, I had shifted. I looked up, only to be met with Caspian’s dark and alluring gaze. “Grooowwwwll!!!!” something rumbled. It was then I realized, it was his beast’s rumbling and the same thing had happened to him. He was surfaced in seconds— a black creature several feet taller than mine. Huger, with a blemished and an eye sore of a face…but I saw through him. I saw through that. Our wolves hugged surprisingly, rolling over on the bed. Hitting the wall hardly, with a sound echoing the entire room.
