She glares at the bruised, bleeding kids in Room 205. "Same garbage every year!" she roars, her voice literally shaking the lights. "Get back inside your room right now!" The so-called elite students scramble inside like terrified mice, slamming the door shut. The Manager turns her fierce glare to me. "And you! Stop dawdling! The Blood Moon is rising. Get to your room and lock the door!" I blink. Blood Moon? What the hell is a Blood Moon? I open my mouth to ask if there's a hazard pay multiplier for surviving one, but the Manager is already marching down the hall, muttering nervously to herself about "something bad happening tonight."
