TWO WEEKS AGO "So it's more of an urban legend?" "Not really, no. There really was a mansion just past the forest here. It's built atop a hill but I'm not sure if it's still there." "What's the story behind it?" The old man stopped to take a swig of his whiskey and took a drag from his cigar. "It's a story no one in town likes to talk about for... well, reasons." he began as he eyed the young lady before him. "It happened long ago, way too long ago that I wasn't even alive, but the story is something that everyone had passed down."

The actual chandelier left a large shadow on most of the large open space. The mansion had an awful feel. Just being inside it gave me a horrible feeling inside, but I couldn't pinpoint why I had it. It was like something dreadfully morbid was happening, but it was the mansion of a woman over fifty years old. She couldn't kill someone if she tried, right? She was too old to, although the strength she showed when she slapped me made me question that notion. "Where is everyone?" she asked angrily, rhetorically.

“Bella. Don’t worry, she doesn’t have her Wolf yet. She won’t be a problem.” The larger man calls for the gates to be open. Aiden creeps the car through with a smile on his face. “You don’t know that I’m not going to be a problem.” I mutter “Then let’s hope that I can trust that you won’t be a problem.”. He creeps the car along the gravel drive. Bringing the car to a stop in front of a massive mansion. It was easily three times the size of my home. Ivy crept along the grey stone walls. Some of the windows were massive.

And avoid Chase as much as possible. I could feel the Beta looking at me for a few moments before he finally sighed and started up the van again. Up ahead, I saw the road went over another bridge as we crossed the river again. Once we hit the peak of the bridge, I couldn’t help but gasp. Directly opposite the bridge was a park space with a mix of pathways and sculptured gardens. And at the other end of the park, I could see a large white manor-style house. Even from here I could see tall white columns and it looked to be four stories, with the top having a wraparound balcony and a more modern penthouse style look to it. Then, flanking each side of the park, were two almost identical building

The Fords and the Sniders were active in Sentius City, while the Simmonses were active in Astoria, which was why they didn't have many dealings with the former two. However, the old manors of all three families were still in Madelville, and they had become one of the city's landmarks. If not for the fact that the families guarded their homes closely, people would probably be buying tickets for entry by now. The three old manors were in a corner of Madelville and sprawled over a large area. The three alleys surrounding the area were part of the three families' property, and no outsiders were allowed to set foot into it without permission.

Vince trembled but did not dare to say much. He immediately went looking for Zoelle. Sullivan Manor was as spacious as a castle. The wedding decorations made the place beautiful and fairytale-like. It also had a lounge, a chess room, a horse-riding, and a pool party. There was even an amusement park specially built for children. Vince instantly knew where to locate Zoelle. Given how flashy she was, he knew she would be at the pool party. And as expected, she was in a black bikini that showed off her fair skin.

~Tessa~ The elevator chimed softly, and the silver doors slid open into a space that felt like it had stepped straight out of a magazine spread. Marble floors. Gold rimmed mirrors. Mannequins dressed in half finished designs standing like silent guards. Riri nudged my arm lightly. “We’re really here,” she whispered, half laughing, half in awe. I smiled, though my stomach was a tangle of nerves. “You mean we as in “they actually picked us?’”

“Then let me come.” “They didn’t invite you.” “So?” I turn to him. “That is exactly why.” He studies me for a second, then nods slowly. “Call me if anything feels off.” “Everything feels off,” I admit. He gives me a half smile. “Then call me sooner.” The Millers’ rented mansion sits right on the beach, lights glowing warm against the darkening sky. It’s the kind of place that looks effortless and expensive at the same time. Tall windows. Long driveway. White stone steps leading up to a wide front door.

So, I politely declined, using work as an excuse. Belen was a person who was very good at reading body language, and she immediately understood. The Mercer's mansion, located in the heart of the city, was a grand and opulent residence. It was built in the 19th century and stood as a symbol of wealth and power. The mansion boasted intricate architectural details, with its towering columns and ornate carvings. Inside, the rooms were adorned with luxurious furnishings and exquisite artwork. The Mercer family, who were prominent members of society, hosted lavish parties and gatherings in their magnificent home. However, as time passed, the mansion fell into disrepair and was eventually abandoned

★★★ The Lawrence family manor was one of the oldest residential manors in South Hampton City, surrounded by trees and a small lake. There were guards outside of the manor gate. In South Hampton City, Lawrence was a prominent family. “Are you hungry?” Jessica asked Cornell as they stepped inside her family house. Subtly grinning, Cornell shook his head and denied his mother. His gaze traveled throughout the entire manor and the unknown residents of this enormous manor. He was a little taken aback that his mother had to work so hard to become a well-known actress and model, despite the fact that his granddad had a fat bank account.
