“I need to leave,” I snap.
“Your dragon is injured. You need to heal him,” Ishir says to me, the two of them standing in my way, their arms crossed over their chests.
“He is not my dragon. Iniko is,” I say.
“His image is on your chest, Eliane. Whether you meant to claim him or not, Ancalagon is indeed your dragon,” Merethyl says, her voice harder than I’ve ever heard it.
“You’ve been in my class, Eliane. You know that when a rider claims a dragon and that dragon is injured in the claim, only the rider can heal them,” Cedric growls.
