On it was a photo from our bonding ceremony. Messages from Isabella kept popping up. "I'll arrive in the north tomorrow afternoon. Will you come pick me up?" What followed was a photo of her and Digger. "Look, Digger says he misses his dad." I felt nothing seeing these messages. I simply notified a Beta to come retrieve the phone. He laughed from his end of the line. “Who gets to tell him?” she laughed. “Nuh-uh. I’m just here for the entertainment. Anyway, Bear is going to be in charge while I’m gone.” “When do you leave?” “Wednesday.
