“You think you can take me? I’m a fucking Alpha1 You’re just a Beta – second fucking best!” I get to my feet, wiping my jaw with the back of my hand. “Beta, maybe. But I’ve killed stronger wolves than you.” With a snarl, Darius lunges at me, but I’m ready. He’s fast, but I’ve been through more fights than he has, and I know how to read his movements. He aims for my throat, his claws outstretched, but I sidestep at the last second and slam my elbow into his ribs. The satisfying crack of bone echoes in the air.

"That is what happened. The gods were a major part of our lives then. Today, the people have all but forgotten them except in myth and story." "Okaaaay." Liv drew out the word. "We'll go with that for now." Brodi frowned at her but continued. "The gods wanted to contain the power of my family so they cursed us. If the male heir, the pack Alpha, did not find his fated mate within a certain time, he turned into a Berserker. A Berserker is a being who has immeasurable strength but no reason. He kills indiscriminately. He cannot, therefore, lead a clan or pack. He must be put down." Brodi's voice lowered. "Many members of my family were killed over the years by an Alpha who went Berserker before

The Berserker turned its glowing red eyes on Emma. The savage beast, nearly a ton of snarling fury, had finished decimating Terra’s creatures. Now, its hunger locked onto her. Emma’s breath hitched in her throat as the creature snarled, its thick hide steaming from exertion, its jaws soaked in blood. It had taken down every abomination around them—and now she stood as the only living target.

Emerged on the roof to chaos—three berserkers already up here, fighting with the garrison wolves. The catapults were visible on the ridge maybe two hundred yards out, teams loading another volley. Serna counted the time, maybe thirty seconds between shots. "SERNA BEHIND YOU." Someone screamed. She spun, berserker right there with an axe coming at her head. Dropped flat, felt the blade whistle overhead. Came up with her knife, opened his belly sideways. He went down screaming, guts trying to fall out. She stepped over him, moved toward the next one.

They locked onto the Berserker. Viggo did not retreat. He roared, a guttural sound that rattled my chest cavity. He leapt into the air. His biceps swelled, the tendons in his neck distending as he swung his warhammer. He aimed for the armored shoulder. He connected. The sound was a deafening, metallic ring—like a church bell struck by a projectile. The Barzil-steel dented. The machine staggered, its gears whining in a high-pitched mechanical protest.

Only a child's snore resounded inside the modest hut. "Activating System Defense Mode… 1% 2% 3% 99% 100% complete… System Defense Mode Activated… Assessing Possible Security Measures… 1% 2% 3% 99% 100% complete Purchasing 1 Builder Bot 1% 2% 3% 99% 100% complete 395 world energy remaining… Purchasing 1 Replica Bot 1% 2% 3% 99% 100%

The system voice suddenly appeared in Lucas' mind, "Beep! Congratulations, master, for obtaining a chance for a random lucky draw." ... Lucas was stunned. It has been a long time since he had the chance to win the lucky draw. Without thinking too much, Lucas used the lucky draw this time. Suddenly, the virtual pointer needle in his mind kept spinning in the roulette. A few seconds later, the pointer stopped. "Congratulations, master, for winning the super Berserk x1." "Super Berserk: It increases battle strength by a thousandfold after usage." Lucas secretly smiled, thinking that whatever he wanted, he would get it.

Maybe, the first attempt was not too loud enough for that gorgeous cold prince to hear me. “Doom,” I called again his name a little louder. Five minutes have passed, and I’m bored to death. Damn him, where is he!? “Doom! Doom!! Doom!!!” I lose my patience, so I shouted his name countless times as if I had gone mad. Then, I burst into laughter with all my craziness and sh*t, later. I have never had fun for a long time. I almost forgot what it felt like. “You are a hopeless case.”

These berserk werewolves could be the missing werewolves from so many packs. The team was split into two different lines; the Frontier line and the second line. The Alphas and Betas were leading the frontier while the Gammas were leading the second line. The berserk werewolves weren’t that far anymore. Their growls were getting louder with each heavy stomp. When the first berserk wolf appeared, Cohen jumped in and fought it. He bit the wolf by the neck but not deep enough to kill it. Cohen broke the wolf’s front and back paws. The injuries could heal in a matter of hours. It was good enough rather than killing it on the spot.
