A Doctor’s Oath

A Doctor’s Oath

I knew perfectly well they were trying to keep an eye on me, and honestly, that was exactly the effect I wanted. At 12:55 p.m., one of the staff members pointed to a seat by the window. “Dr. Lane, have a seat. If you need anything, let us know. We’ll come by periodically to check.” With that, they shut the door behind them. The moment the records room door slammed shut, I grabbed the doctor's code of conduct handbook from the desk and began reciting it at the top of my lungs. “Article One! Doctors must possess sound professional ethics and medical competency, uphold their principles, and fulfil the sacred duty of preventing illness, treating disease, saving lives, and protecting the health o

Master of Life and Death

Master of Life and Death

Doctors devote their entire lives to saving patients, to challenging illness, and even to defying death itself! "Who possesses such courage and gallantry? Well, people like Edwin Jeffries, Tiana Lewinsky, Deborah Unger, and Nathaniel Graves all come to mind. In the last century, these honorable doctors proved their selfless devotion to serving the people and their relentless pursuit of excellence." Cassian emphasized, "They have established an enduring legacy that will remain with us forever. But whenever they spoke of their work, they would simply say they were doctors. "To them, being a doctor meant it was their duty to safeguard their patients' interests and care for them—to prioritize th

The Amazing Doctor

The Amazing Doctor

He eyed Bailey and said disdainfully, "What kind of responsibility? I don't think you know anything about medicine. I can't be bothered talking to you. Where's the patient?" No one had ever accused Bailey of not understanding medicine before. He had graduated from the best medical university in Malia at the age of 16, and he had a double PhD. "Mr. Keller, the doctors who practice modern medicine in Dramon are very mediocre!" Bailey had gone pale with anger. If it wasn't for the fact that Madeline kept shooting him meaningful glances, he would have pulled out his license to stun Shane.

After that, she looked at me and said, "Tracy, it's not easy to be a doctor. It takes a lot of effort to become a good doctor. Not to mention determination and courage, outstanding medical skills need to be studied day and night, and it requires a lot of combination of theory and practice. " I nodded and said, "I see. I'm ready to be a doctor."

Doctor to the mafia

Doctor to the mafia

Catherine The people here have some basic medical training and one of them is a doctor. At least he is a doctor on paper, but he is so lazy and distracted I suspect he has bought his license. The other three men and women, who have basic medical education, have more knowledge and experience than Dr. Davies. That thought does not bring me comfort, but instead increases the feeling of dread hanging over me. Why would normal people with basic medical education have this enough medical knowledgement to assist in a surgery?

Married a Secret Billionaire

Married a Secret Billionaire

“He has a criminal record! He was in prison before! How could a pure girl like Cordelia be happy to be marrying such a man?” “Then why don’t you ask Cordelia if she’s happy or not?” Seth smirked, and a tinge of pride surfaced on his face. Linda’s cheeks were flushing and turning pale. She was pissed. “Miss, on the first day at medical school, my teacher taught me that the biggest taboo of a doctor is to treat the head when the head aches and treat the foot when the foot hurts. We have to be thorough when analyzing the patient’s medical record and illness. Sometimes, when something is wrong with their liver, we’ll also get doctors from hematology for the consultation!”

Mint Mocha
I've only read two books on this app. This is the second and by far the best one. The storylines are fluid, the characters are endowed with personality and most importantly the writer makes them come together seamlessly. Ideally, this is what the experience should be, uncomplicated and enjoyable.
Sharon
I like the story. However, the cost is high for books on here and they are never ending. Not that the chapters are long, but it is almost the same outlying as the other books from this author. Sometimes it takes a moment to see what characters they have actively engaged in that chapter.

Your Lips to Mine #4: The Billionaire's Heartbeat

Your Lips to Mine #4: The Billionaire's Heartbeat

I always tell my mentees that being a doctor isn’t just about the medical knowledge we hold or the skills we practice. It’s about the people. It’s about connecting with the patients, understanding their struggles, and being there for them when they need us the most. But there’s another part to it, too—one that I think gets overlooked too often. It’s about the journey of growth, both personal and professional. Every step we take, every challenge we face, shapes us into the doctors we’re meant to be.

FALLING FOR HIS DADDY

FALLING FOR HIS DADDY

he continued, “but character is what keeps the knife steady in a storm. You can save a life with your hands, but you destroy your reputation with one selfish act.” Several people nodded. Some looked uneasy. “In this profession,” he said, glancing briefly at Vincent and Marylyn, “jealousy, sabotage, and deception should have no home. A true doctor is not defined by who they beat, but by how they carry those around them.” Marylyn shifted uncomfortably. Vincent looked away. Leylla furrowed her brow. The message hit too close to home. She thought of Dr. Aldrich’s earlier warnings to his son. Was this another one?
