* The story is told from a single POV, and it doesn't change over the whole book. A trivia bit that blew me away: I picked the setting rather randomly, and later on, I found out I set my ghost story a stone-throw away from where Lovecraft set The Dunwich Horror and The Color Out of Space. Those coincidences I love about writing. Okay, enough gibberish. I'm just gonna breathe deep and hope for the best. Moreover, people hardly believe you guys exist so it's of no use writing it and trying to convince them." "But I want you to write my story, Chris. I want the world to know how I died, what caused my death, everything. Including the way, my mum cried when she found out about my death till the very end when I'm gone."

Layla, still shaking, lifted a trembling hand and pointed toward the window. “A ghost,” she whispered. “It’s a ghost.” “Ghost?” Lucian echoed, walking toward the window. She nodded frantically, clinging to him like a frightened child. He closed his eyes briefly and shook his head when he noticed her phone lying open on the bed. “You were reading a ghost novel?” he asked flatly. Layla nodded. “But I heard something. I swear.” “It’s just dry branches and leaves rustling,” he said calmly. “Nothing else.”

" She was terrified. She trembled and clapped her hand on her mouth? It was awkward because the mansion was encircled by a concrete wall fence. "It couldn't have been an intruder. Perhaps it was a roaming dog, but they didn't own any in the mansion. It couldn't be a dog because there was no way it could have jumped over the wall fence unless it had wings. She was confused. "Oh, mother Mary, I am scared." She hauled the blanket over her head shaking tremendously. Suddenly she vividly recollected the story about ghosts; Her mother had once told her that in some families, the dead return during the night to haunt their enemies or watch over their loved ones.

He told me there was a book in his office that had the safe hidden inside. The book was about ghost towns, so he doubted Zane would have found it. That is when I learned that Zane was afraid of ghosts. At first, I thought it was funny, that Zane feared something that wasn’t real until I thought about it. If werewolves and other creatures were real, maybe ghosts were too. Thinking that, a chill ran down my spine, causing me to shiver. It wasn’t funny after all, because if ghosts were real, I would be afraid too.

Hi, I’m new here! Like, I was approved just earlier. I joined here because I love reading ghost stories. I know I don’t have a third eye, but I had several experiences about ghosts. However, it doesn’t really bother me that much at all. Actually, I really just want to read some ghost stories as a way to lull myself to sleep. But while I was reading, I felt encouraged to talk about my previous experience. I’m just going to share it, okay? It doesn’t bother me at all. Actually, I’ve been amazed by it back then and it hasn't changed even now. I hope you enjoy it too.
