Upstairs was in big letters: Carrow Genetic Registry — Restricted Bloodline Match My breath stopped. Two names. Lena Carter Noah Carter And among them: Compatibility: 100% Activation Pair I got sick. I kept reading. Each line worse than the previous one. In the case of physical binding, a descendant can arise, which is the complete Carrow Heir without ritual. The descendant is considered a primary key. Protection or security priority. The leaf almost slipped out of my hands. I couldn't talk. “This is... sick.”

I asked curiously. “Yes, we do. Horus’s descendants can only produce males, and Nut’s descendants can only produce females. We know Alsie and her mother were descendants of Nut because they are females. I am a male, and I produced male heirs because I and now, you three are the descendants of Horus.”

he said. “Yes.” He waited for permission to sit again. I gave it. “I evaluated legacy children,” he said, getting straight to it. “Not all of them. Only those marked transitional.” I didn’t blink. “Could you start by defining what you mean by transitional.” “Genetic continuities that failed primary vectors.” My jaw tightened. “Honestly, you could just say that in a lay man's English.” “Children born after a primary bloodline destabilized,” he said. “They test alternatives. Replacement trials.”

There were ducks swimming on the lake while pigeons were on the ground pecking on the concrete floor looking for food i guess. I sat on a bench and leaned on the back rest. That guy has been following me for a week now, he introduced himself as Shan Zhao and that he was working for the imperial family. I almost laughed when i heard that, but he told me he was serious. I tried to be serious too and decided to listen to whatever he has to say which i shouldn't have done, what he said next was what made me laugh, rolling on the ground. "You are the descendant of the great Emperor. And the imperial family needs you. " He said.

“You are not even a descendant of one of The Greats.” I had heard that phrase before, ‘The Greats,’ but I couldn’t think where I had heard it. “Good job too,” Aiden mutters, looking at me. Eli waltzes out of the room. “The Greats?” I mutter to Aiden. “A powerful Wolf pack, a long long time ago. My mum is a descendant.” “And that means you are too?” It made sense why he didn’t want me to be a relative and I agree.

Jensen was confused, and Evie smiled bitterly. “They did not inherit anything because they are the original gods from heaven,” she said. “Returners to ancestry are those deities who entered the cycle of birth. They were born to mortals but they retained their memories and powers as deities.” In her world, when a returner to ancestry was born, as soon as she or he became old enough, he or she would become the ruler of the land automatically. In any case, most of them were born to royalties, as the royalties in her world directly descended from deities.

I ask not understanding a bit of Derek's explanations, "The thing is you being an hybrid yout blood pisses some kind of special genes which makes you able to create descendants of your own, more like creating a clone by infusing your blood in them which makes it all confusing" "These descendants of mine, what would they be?" I ask worried and delighted, "I'm sorry but that's the big I know nothing about the little I explained just now I gotta know by eavesdropping on my father and asking him cornrows questions, but there is one thing in certain about you"

“Wait a minute. What do you mean Chris and Rae’s powers? I thought you were referring to us.” “Chris isn’t one of us. Well, he isn’t one of you but he is sort of like Rae, Talon, and me.” “What does that mean?” “We are descended from Gods.” I go as still as a statue. “As in actual Gods?” “Yes.” “You are a descendant of a creation of a god. I am a descendant of a creation and the Goddess herself.” “That makes Rae..” “Yes. She is Selene’s great great great great..well, you get the point, granddaughter.”

“You are the descendent of the Goddess as well. You are our grandchild’s child.” I shook my head in denial…but how could I deny the connection? I had always felt comfortable around Malachi and Ezra. I had always felt like they were my guardians, my blood. Now that they were saying that I was actually their blood…it did make sense, but at the same time, it seemed like a farfetched fairytale. “How is that even possible? My parents…they are your descendents too?” “Yes,” Ezra nodded. “One side of your family comes from us. I cannot tell who our blood is unless we see them, but either your mother or your father is our descendent. You are possibly the fourth generation.”

“Now listen -” “What you’re doing is wrong Gabriel. These descendants pose no threat to you or to humans. Quite the contrary in fact.” It was that word again. Descendant. Descendant of what, he wondered. “The way you think of yourself is also wrong, but it is not your fault. You should have been educated in our ways. You should have been mentored, although your hunting is quite unique. I’ve never come across a vampire that tries to kill, what he thinks, are his own kind. Not in all these years.”
