The rain hammered harder against the roof.
Cole leaned in first, his face close enough that I could feel the warmth radiating from him, the scent of rain still clinging to his jacket. He didn’t touch his mouth to mine, but the space between us was almost nothing. Damien’s voice came low, almost a growl. “She is going to break.”
Rylan’s lips curved in a slow smile. “Let her.”
The intensity in their stares was almost physical. My breath came faster, the sound of it mixing with the steady rhythm of the rain. I felt the pull from all three directions at once, a dangerous, magnetic force I couldn’t deny.
