The Academy of The Ascendant - Book 1 Marked by Starlight

The Academy of The Ascendant - Book 1 Marked by Starlight

But the second I did, it breathed. The book didn’t open. It unfolded. The cover split open in silence, pages spilling like silk, the air humming as the magic within adjusted to me. Not the other way around. I froze. There was no resistance. No permission asked. Just acceptance. Like the book had been waiting. The ink inside shifted before my eyes, words scrawling themselves across the first page in ink that shimmered between black and violet: To the One Who Was Hidden. To the One the Stars Remember.

THE BILLIONAIRE'S TWISTED GAMES

THE BILLIONAIRE'S TWISTED GAMES

She placed the leather-bound book on her lap with reverence, brushing away the lingering dust with her trembling fingers. The book creaked open like it hadn’t been touched in years. Its pages were yellowed and fragile, but tucked between random paragraphs were faint markings—notes written in delicate, slanted handwriting. Leah’s heart thudded as she scanned the lines, searching for meaning. On the third chapter, Sofia’s voice came alive. “Nothing is ever truly what it seems. A beautiful prison is still a prison.” Leah’s brows furrowed. She flipped another page. More underlines, this time around a quote from the book’s protagonist:

BLOOD AND VOWS: THE MAFIA WRONG BRIDE

BLOOD AND VOWS: THE MAFIA WRONG BRIDE

And why did I feel like she was reaching out to me from beyond the grave? Damn it, Chiara! You're thinking about this too much. I opened the book to the first page, my eyes landing on the familiar opening line. "There was no possibility of taking a walk that day." I smiled despite myself, feeling in the familiar words of the book. I've read these words a hundred times, but each time, they felt new. They were the beginning of a story that had carried me through the darkest moments of my life. These words, were home. With a smile, I turned the page. And froze.

The Family Survival Fund and Apocalypse Revenge

The Family Survival Fund and Apocalypse Revenge

I picked up the journal on the table, turned to a pristine new page, and wrote the first line. [Apocalypse Year One, Day One. Weather: Clear. [I await the fading of crises and chaos, when all things wake to a rebirth.]

Chaitali: The Saga begins

Chaitali: The Saga begins

Would you mind lending a hand? She gapes at me for a minute before she lets out an exhausted sigh and goes about. Ignoring her existence, I bury my nose under the book again. The first three paragraphs are a bullshit sort of introduction. ‘The Basics’; promises about unreachable standards I’d reach, the kind of work I’d end up writing and Yada, Yada, Yadaaaaaaaa.

Thirty Days Before Goodbye

Thirty Days Before Goodbye

And felt the specific, complete weight of something that had started as a title and a first line and had arrived, through the long middle of its own becoming, at exactly what it was supposed to be. The Thursday meeting lasted ninety minutes. Patricia Osei was direct and specific in the way of someone who read widely and thought precisely and did not use more words than the situation required. She had notes on the manuscript. Good notes. The kind that showed she had read with the full attention the document deserved. She said: "The candles chapter is the chapter that will define this book's reception. It is specific enough to be universal." "Yes," I said. "The last line," she said. "It needs

This is the kind of story that lingers in your mind long after you close the app. The story deserves far more recognition than it's getting because the author knows exactly how to keep readers emotionally hostage....️

To anyone settling for crumbs of love. I would recommend this story. Natalie proved that losing someone who never valued you isn’t a loss…it’s freedom. One of the most emotionally satisfying stories I’ve read so far. Once again I recommend reading this blockbuster story. Kudos to the author.

Bankrupting the Alpha: Crowned by the Dragon King

Bankrupting the Alpha: Crowned by the Dragon King

A familiar bookshelf slid away from the wall. An old leather-bound volume floated toward my hands. I smiled. "Thank you." The castle hummed quietly. Almost proudly. I opened the book. Its title immediately caught my attention. The Awakening of Dormant Bloodlines My heartbeat quickened. I sat immediately. The first chapters described different awakening methods used throughout history. Some involved meditation. Others difficult trials. Several required guidance from an awakened relative. Then... A sentence made me stop reading. I read it again. Then a third time.

The Wrong Vow, My Perfect Match

The Wrong Vow, My Perfect Match

The Wrong Vow, My Perfect Match Book Two: The Green Dawn Chapter 217: The Council Divided No one spoke. The blank book rested at the center of the stone table. Its single sentence glowed softly. "No ending has the right to forbid a new beginning." The words seemed alive. Not demanding agreement. Simply asking to be considered. The old man folded his hands. "For ages..." "We believed every story needed someone to close its final page." His eyes wandered around the circle.
