“You own buildings everywhere. Offices, towers, warehouses. A man with your resources could easily set up surveillance all across the city.”
Damien leaned back in amusement.
“That’s quite a project.”
The captain pointed a finger toward him.
“And then,” he said proudly, “you’ve got some brilliant tech guy sitting in one of your building basements watching all the screens.”
Damien could not help laughing.
“A basement?”
“Of course,” Morgan insisted. “That’s where all the secret operations happen.”
He leaned even closer.
“The guy watches the cameras and whenever he sees a crime happening, he calls you. Something like, ‘Mr. Hayes, robbery in progress near the docks.’”
