Part 1 Alot of people have different life tale, I have read many and never thought I will one day tell mine here for others to read. I have held back for so long and Just felt is time to let my pain out. I will start right from when it all began. I came from a loving home, my parents were awesome when it comes to caring for us. I wandered through the aisles, running my fingers along the spines, feeling a sense of belonging I hadn't felt in a long time. I spent the whole day there, completely lost among the books, reading story after story until I lost track of time. One book caught my attention "The Adventures of Sir Flufftail" a ridiculous but absolutely hilarious story about a brave and very dramatic rabbit knight who went on quests to save stolen carrot cakes from mischievous squirrels.

I squeak at the end. Damn it. He’s caught me by surprise, and it’s making me nervous. “Smut isn’t what I had in mind.” “It’s just a romance novel, Daddy.” I knew the cigarettes would get me in trouble, but I’m surprised he’s harping on the book. He’s always got his nose in a book—sometimes some classic, since he’s a lit professor, but just as likely a thriller, and he knows I love a good romance as much as he loves a good save-the-world-from-the-bad-guys adventure.

“Mommy, read another one! I want to hear the one about the knight and the dragon!” “And after that, the story about the moon! Please, Mommy?” Josh said. You both need to sleep.” They cheered, and I picked up the next book, throwing myself into the voices and expressions of the characters. The knight’s commands, the dragon’s fiery roars, and the damsel’s exaggerated cries all tumbled out of me as the boys watched with wide eyes. Every time I finished one, they begged for another, their pleas tugging at my heart.

I stopped by the bookstore to get Zion a few new books, since we were all done with the bedtime stories we had at home. Last week, he asked if I was about to read him The Ninja Turtle, where the short, bad guy got caught in the end. I didn’t need another clue to know he was tired of the always-repeated story already. I made plans to branch out at the bookstore today before going home. I would get four new storybooks for now, and once they got exhausted, I would go for another.

Alya lied down on the couch and rested her head on the pillow, smiling up at me. Stories were our thing. After a lot of effort, I got her into reading. But her only condition was that I read to her. Ever since, we picked an author and I read all of their best books to her almost every day. And Oscar Wilde's The Happy Prince was the first book I read to her. It became her favorite book and Wilde her favorite author.

Bella is really going to benefit from someone who is really laid back and able to calm her down. Challenge this week is going to be a bit different.
