I didn't pause, but picked up speed and just when they were right above me they withered and turned to ash, floating in the dark-shrouded air. "Regroup!" Someone yelled and they started to run backwards. "Release the slave!" another voice yelled. The wizard immediately did, causing the guardian to jerk into attention, wheeling in my direction. He charged forward.

Blood flowed incessantly, and the void shattered instantly. “Go die.” A cold, emotionless voice echoed in the void. Warner once again drew the string of his golden bow behind Wael. His entire strength condensed into the Path Arrow. As he released the bowstring, the arrow shot forth, splitting into two, then four, then eight...
