Beyond The Lies

Beyond The Lies

She felt like she had been given an undeserving chance at life and decided she wasn't going to spend even a second trying to understand what happened those years back. The door flew open and Manuel, accompanied by Dr. Tony and an unfamiliar man who looked to be in his early thirties walked into the living room. Manuel went over to where his wife was seated and kissed her on cheek before plopping down beside her on the sofa. Tony greeted the women in the room and immediately delved right into introducing the man who stood beside him. "This is Easton Blaine," he divulged. "He will be Adelina's therapist while she continues her out-patient therapy here."

I demanded. “To where he belongs,” he replied. “To where he cannot burn the world for you.” “And me.” His gaze lingered. “You are the variable.” They led me inside the facility through corridors that hummed with quiet power, walls smooth and unyielding, doors opening with biometric precision, and my heart pounded with each step, my mind replaying Kenneth’s last look, the promise and devastation in it, the unspoken vow that he would endure anything if it meant I survived.

He sped around to the other side to open her door, taking her hand to guide her out. “Thank you,” she smiled at him, but it faded as she looked around once more, confused. “This doesn’t look like the picture from my research, there are no shadowy walls or anything! Where are we?” “A few miles away from the borders of Nighttide,” an unknown voice called out behind them.

Beyond the Divorce

Beyond the Divorce

"Thank you very much. Let's leave immediately." Everyone headed out, and the sky was gradually getting darker. After getting into the car, we raced toward the airport. At this moment, I was anxious. I knew exactly where Greenhill was after the taxi driver group's announcement. It was the border between the capital and Bibury. This indicated that their car was already on the way to the airport. We didn't know if we could catch up with them in time. In case they escaped, I knew how brutal the people in Bermuda were. They were all ruthless criminals involved in extremely dangerous activities. Moreover, this kidnapper was Navi himself.

It was a good book. A lot of the mixup/changes in names/locations was very annoying. Wish we would have gotten a little more out of the ending of one of the main villains. Chapters also needed to be longer; a lot of money spent on this book for 5-6 pages per chapter.

I loved this book. I liked all the characters and their interactions. Loved Atlas & Chloe together. Parts of the book are very suspenseful and made it hard to put down. Liked that she was a mom and a business owner. She was strong and intelligent. Hated that the book was over. Highly recommend.

Beyond His World

Beyond His World

But Liana remained where she stood. She looked toward the place where the light had disappeared. For reasons she couldn't explain, her heart wasn't filled with fear. It was filled with curiosity. And an overwhelming feeling that the mysterious light had come... for her. Far above the clouds, beyond the reach of human eyes, an ancient portal slowly closed. A single voice echoed through the fading light. "The journey has begun." Liana didn't hear the words. But somehow... She felt them. Without realizing it, her ordinary life had just reached its end.

A Marriage Beyond Reach

A Marriage Beyond Reach

That was also when the heir to the Langhams, who was in his tweens, went missing. There was an abandoned warehouse in the orphanage, located in a remote area, where I would always hide from my bullies. I went there, covered with wounds, and it was also there that I found Ian looking back at me coldly. I helped him hide for two months by delivering food and water to him. It was only later that I found out he had a stepmother whom his father constantly sided with. I would bring him out of the warehouse at night to play in the courtyard, and when he found out the director's nickname for me, he started to call me Tia.

Midnight Between Us

Midnight Between Us

It was not a calculated concern or the detached worry of an overseer; it was raw, unfiltered terror. The Keeper stepped forward immediately, their cosmic form rippling with agitation. "What is it? What lies out there?" Far beyond the borders of known reality, far beyond the radiant cradle of the Source, and far beyond any distant coordinate creation had ever reached in its eons of expansion, the colossal door continued to tremble. The Creator stared blankly at the projected vision, their voice dropping to an anxious whisper: "The Boundary."

Bound by Power

Nothing like the sagging mattress she had dragged herself out of at her apartment. This wasn’t her apartment. This wasn’t her life. She swung her legs over the edge of the bed. Her bare feet touched cool marble. Smooth. Clean. Polished. Every step reminded her she didn’t belong here yet. The entire wall opposite the bed was glass, stretching floor to ceiling. Beyond it, the city sprawled endlessly, rows of buildings fading into the morning light. The streets below looked distant and small, like a world that suddenly felt far away. Nina’s reflection caught her attention. Messy dark hair spilling over one shoulder, oversized black shirt, one that Victor had handed her the night before. She had

he says. I step beside him, scanning the ground, the direction, the pattern. Then I see it. And I know. I straighten slowly. “He is not running,” I say. The others look at me. “He is heading somewhere specific.” “Where?” one of them asks. My chest stills. Because I recognize the direction. I have seen it before. Felt it. “He is going to her.” Silence follows. Not fear. Recognition. We cross the final boundary marker without slowing. Council authority ends here. Whatever waits beyond this line belongs to something else. Something older. Something prepared.
