His Plaything
Then I saw her.
Bianca stood near the edge, back to me, the moonlight catching in her golden hair as it danced in the wind. Her short, tight skirt clung to her curves, her arms bare and trembling in the cold.
"Bianca," I called gently, stepping forward with one hand outstretched. "Get down from there."
She turned halfway, eyes red and glassy, a nearly empty bottle of whiskey swinging from one hand. Her face was streaked with tears.
"You!" she spat, raising the bottle toward me like a weapon. "Don't come closer—I swear I'll throw it!" She wiped her face with her free hand.
