One was heart-shaped, its red paint faded, its name engraved almost lost to time.
"If this were a game," Nina said quietly, "we'd probably be asked to put up a lock, too."
Arthur glanced at her, his gaze sharp but not threatening. "If this is a game, we'll play it."
