The Master's wife

The Master's wife

~Leah pov~ “Bride, walk slowly.” Mother Ruth’s sharp whisper barely reached me beneath the violent pounding of my heartbeat, the heavy veil softened the world into pale shadows as I stood at the entrance of the Sanctuary chapel, my trembling hands locked tightly together beneath layers of white silk, candles flickered against ancient stone walls, casting wavering gold across rows of bowed heads. White flowers lined the aisle in perfect arrangements, their sweet scent mixing with incense thick enough to choke on.

Pregnant For My Husband’s Father

Pregnant For My Husband’s Father

A high slit ran up my thigh, elegant but dangerous. “This,” I said softly, lifting it, “is perfect.” The maid nearly panicked. “Ma’am, no!” she cried. “You can’t wear black to your wedding. It’s forbidden! Black brings bad luck. Black is for funerals, not weddings!” I ignored her and spread the gown across the bed. Even Lara hesitated. “Clara,” she said carefully, “we’re going to a wedding, not a funeral. You can’t wear black.” I smiled slowly.

Captured by the Demon King

Captured by the Demon King

Very human-like. Briva kept looking at me with her mouth open and her eyes wide whilst I explained everything that happened in the afterlife. She gave not a single reaction other than shock. At one point I stopped talking, almost sure she had a heart attack. She just didn't move at all. It took another 10 minutes for her to blink. She then looked outside, to the black sky. Nodding slowly, she ran her hands down her wedding dress and sighed deeply. "Let's make this a wedding they will never forget." She slowly said, her eyes full of mischief.

THE PROXY BRIDE: His bride. Her Secret.

THE PROXY BRIDE: His bride. Her Secret.

“But the gown changes.” Silence. Thick as the truffle foam. Julian sputtered. “The what? Cass, the trust—” “The trust,” Cassian interrupted, “is my concern.” He pushed back from the table, chair scraping like a death knell. “She’ll wear black.” Black? My breath caught. Blondes don’t wear black. Grandma’s monocle shattered in her grip. “Absurd! The Drevane bride wears ivory!” Cassian didn’t flinch. “Then find another blonde.” He turned to me, his voice held something raw. “This one wears black.”

The veil

The veil

Daniel asked without taking his amused look off Sam. “It will be another time, my girlfriend is indisposed and we have to go back,” Arthur answered half uncomfortably. He didn't like that man, just as he didn't like the fact that he was a friend of the Deltons and Jones, it was obvious that he was part of their shady business. “By the way, you didn't answer my question,” Daniel attacked. “It's a private question, Mr. White. You alone have had the decency to ask about my bride's veil, it is a custom in her country," he lied to get out of the way.

OOPS! I SENT IT TO MY BAD BOY STEPBROTHER !

OOPS! I SENT IT TO MY BAD BOY STEPBROTHER !

My body trembles, and I try to make myself smaller, curling even more in a ball. “Now get hell up.” “How could a young man treat his bride that way?” Someone in the crowd gasped, nodding as everyone else agreed with her. “And that too in public. Lord only knows what happens in private. “Could that be the reason she’s on a black veil and dress?” “I knew it! Some very rare brides’d choose a mix of lilies and black roses for their big day.” “Embarrassing.” “Disgraceful!” Their opinions flowed into another, and it only made Asher madder.

Married to my Dad's Billionaire Mafia Friend

Married to my Dad's Billionaire Mafia Friend

“This is your wedding night—but not your black wedding. Tonight, you must satisfy your husband, quench his thirst. If you’re wise and want to keep your place in this house, you’ll do everything in your power to please him.” “Wait… what do you mean by black wedding?” I asked, eyebrows furrowing in confusion. Grace’s expression shifted—her voice dropped to a whisper. “Your husband isn’t just a man. He’s a ruler. A king in this underworld. A black wedding is a sacred blood oath that binds two souls in the Mafia. It’s done only after the white wedding... but only if the bride proves herself worthy.” My mouth went dry. “Blood oath? And what if I don’t prove myself worthy?”

LOVE GAME WITH THE CRIPPLED ZILLIONAIRE

LOVE GAME WITH THE CRIPPLED ZILLIONAIRE

On the streets, ordinary people stood frozen before giant billboards streaming the broadcast, whispering the same desperate prayer that the Princess of Virelia Kingdom would survive. Moments later, a black van stopped beside the bridal car. On live footage, men in black stormed out, dragging the bride and her driver from the vehicle before shoving them into the van. The bride’s bodyguards quickly gave chase. Gunfire erupted, and to the people watching, it felt like a movie scene come to life.

Chasing my Luna

Chasing my Luna

Chapter 93 – The Black Veil The black blood seeped from the walls like a wound that refused to heal. It pooled on the floor, spreading outward in unnatural patterns that seemed alive, pulsing faintly as if it were breathing. Each droplet shimmered with an eerie darkness, reflecting not light but shadow—a void within a void. The air grew heavier, pressing down on them like a storm cloud refusing to break. Whispers began to echo through the chamber, fragmented sentences that slithered into their minds uninvited.

The Runaway Bride

The Runaway Bride

He was about to spend the rest of his life with the woman he loved. The four of them walked together, hand in hand, under everyone’s gaze. But not all eyes present carried good intentions. Hidden among the crowd was an unwanted presence, ready to make her move. Dressed in black, with copper-colored hair, a few extra pounds, and dark sunglasses covering her eyes, Virginia watched them from the farthest seat in the church. Her hands were tucked into her coat, and as the bride and groom moved forward, her desire to stop the wedding—one she found repulsive—grew stronger.
