Chapter 53: Sanaya’s P.O.V: Black. That was all I saw no matter where I turned; no matter how many times I blinked my eyes. It was as if I had been shoved into a room that had all the lights switched off. Except, this wasn’t a closed room. It was open space, open enough that I could feel an icy wind blowing against my skin. It’s said that when you lose one of your senses, all the others become heightened, but they couldn’t be more wrong.

Kevin pulled over in front of his glorious mansion and got out, his hair a little messy, longer strands of it flawlessly falling on his forehead complimenting his grey eyes. Seeing him, the chauffeur jogged over to the other side of the car and hurried to open the passenger door for the lady, but there was no one inside. Instead, he spotted a petite figure lying in the backseat.

As per his request, he killed them swiftly and so fast that they could hardly tell what was killing them. They came dropping down one after the other. In the next five minutes, there was no one left standing except for Baston and Black Gun. Audrey takes a step forward into the room, as she approaches, the dead bodies separate into two creating a path in the centre for her to walk through. Black Gun's heart beats unendingly in his chest, there is no escape for him. His eyes darted back and forth between the two dark beings, he couldn't recognize the girl but the guy, he had no choice but to recognize.

I took the knife from the drawer and cut my wrist over the chest so my blood could fill Yggdrasil, I watched as it filled up, congealed and then the lid lifted. I took the lid off and then I did a small searching spell. I moved the chest behind my desk so it was also hidden by my chair. I didn’t have time to go through every book, I just wanted to know what the black outs were and if there was anything I could do about it. I closed my eyes and reached into the chest and took the book out. I opened the book and I immediately saw the word ‘black out’. I sat down on the couch and put the lamp on and started reading.
