(Black butterflies. They weren't beautiful, not like the azules and amarillas that fluttered around Dragon when he was a child—innocent specks of color in his small world. These were dark and menacing. Their wings like shards of obsidian, sharp and glinting. They poured from the crumbling walls, an endless stream of blackness against the decaying adobe. Wings armored like beetle chitin, glinting with miniature skulls etched into the blackness. No—not just skulls. Faces. His face.

I heard the ladies shout and trooped out but she ignored all of them and headed for my office. “You have to help me Helena” she cried out to me, her eyes brimming with tears “Is anything the problem?” I asked calmly and she kept pointing towards her room “Black, black is dying” she screamed and I jumped to my feet. We both rushed back to her room and saw Mr. Black struggling for his life. His skin was filled with rash and his throat was swollen, he could not speak or close his mouth and with the look of things, one could tell that his life was flashing right in front of him.

“You are my mate. Regardless of whether we have done the ceremony yet, you are my Luna.” My cheeks flushed at his words; the thought of being a Luna had weighed heavily on my mind, but now was not the time to dwell on it. “Come this way,” the butler said, clearing his throat. The butler was a tall, lanky man with hair so dark that it was like charcoal. He walked in long strides, his head held high, and his hands clasped together behind his back.

I immediately shifted my gaze towards the entrance— where I find a black wall sealing our only exit. "This is bad indeed. Look after Persia," I said to Kuroyuki as I placed Persia down. Then, I immediately ran to Kronos and the others, where they were trying to break the black wall. "一文字!" (Ichimonji!) (Straight line!) WHAM!!! Following August's shout— was a powerful beeline katana slash hitting right at the centre of the black wall. "W-Wah…!!?" That slash was so powerful that the entire basement shook from the impact.

"Britney, it seems like you were overly concerned about a butler! If you're really curious, I have a suggestion for you..." Manuel's eyes narrowed slightly, his pitch-black pupils capturing her, his voice steady. "Tonight, indulge me! I will tell you everything!"

Very small. The car stopped. A line of uniformed staff stood outside the grand entrance as if they had been waiting. A butler stepped forward and opened Adrian’s door first. “Welcome home, Mr. Blackwood.” Adrian stepped out smoothly, adjusting his jacket. Then he turned and offered his hand to Elara. “Careful,” he said quietly.

It looked like a fortress. Inside, the air smelled of leather and smoke. The butler, dressed in black, led us down a hallway with paintings that looked older than the country. My heels clicked against the marble floor, each step echoing in my chest. And then I saw him. Santino Blackwood. He stood near the fireplace, the flames lighting his face. He was taller than I imagined, his shoulders broad under a perfectly tailored black suit. His hair was dark, his jaw sharp, his cheekbones cutting. But it was his eyes that froze me. Cold. Stormy. Like they could see through my skin and into my bones.

What they face was not the weak and helpless ant-like cultivator as they had expected but the wrath of the grim reaper in a black butler tuxedo wielding a rapier. “Sir, I’m afraid you’re in the wrong and at the wrong time. Might I suggest you evacuate out of here at once? Otherwise, I’ll need to forcefully remove you from this world.” The butler in the black tuxedo said toward the invaders in a British accent. The invaders look at each other before some of them rush at the Butler and get turned into thousands of slices of meat cubes as they fall to the ground that was littered with their blood, innards, and organs.

' like seriously? 'No, you are not going to force anyone' Jack is just about to pull me when mr. Black's deep upset voice echoes in the hall. Phew! For once, I think I am thankful for Mr. Black's intrusion. At least, this can serve as a compensation for him being a total dick to me earlier this morning. 'In my office mr. Moore' Mr. Black says bossily and then turns back, probably going to his office with an annoyed expression. 'We are not done yet kitten.' Jack says with a victorious grin.

A savage growl echoed, followed by a horrible sound of flesh being torn. Adrian, still in crow form, tilted his head on the branch, watching everything coldly. “Pathetic,” he cawed, bored. The butler tried to crawl away, his hands shaking and his face dirty with earth and blood. His eyes met those of the panther, which now walked slowly toward him, its muzzle dripping with the blood of the wolf it had just killed. “Please…” Blackwell begged. “I just wanted to live… I just wanted to be like you…”
