Black Scythe Manga Novels & Stories

I stretched my mind and body; my tendons and muscles pulsed as the alarming wave rumbled within me. Scythe realized what I was about to do and was not ready to let me go far with this... he pounced forward... all the shadows swarmed toward me like locusts, eating and melting down everything they touched. He was coming for me, and I tried to be fast, screaming and groaning in pain as the power formed, but it was too late... Scythe was here...

I took a deep breath and said flatly, "Fine. Then, hear this—whatever happens to Fraser Networks from now on has nothing to do with me." "Get lost! Don't you dare curse my company. And don't bother showing up again!" Julian sneered, still mocking me. "Who the hell do you think you are, to decide the fate of my company? What a joke." I gave a cold little smile, thinking, 'I hope you still find it funny later.' … Just then, a long black luxury car pulled up in front of the building. The door opened, and a silver-haired old man stepped out with the help of his aides, his voice booming with fury. "Who's kicking Skye out of the company?!" I froze, stunned for a moment. 'Old Mr. Fraser?!'

“You have to cut the connection!” “I can’t— it’s inside me!” He reached her in a blur, grabbing her wrist and forcing her hand downward. Their fingers overlapped around the scythe’s handle, the combined power of their essence igniting the weapon in brilliant light. “Then we sever it together!” They drove the scythe downward, plunging it into the ground. Light exploded from the point of impact, tearing through the corrupted energy in violent, sweeping arcs. The entity shrieked, its form fracturing into shards of black glass that screamed as they fell.

BOOOOMMMM “Ugh!” Shen Yin’er was covered in blood and had lost one of her hands after fighting a pale-skinned man wielding a large scythe. His realm was no joke—a high-level Earth God realm. There was no way Shen Yin’er, at the early Earth God realm, could fight someone like that.

I had to admit that a man who was focused on his work was truly captivating. "This project is currently…" Leon said while loosening his tie and slightly opening the collar of his shirt. I wasn't sure if it was the lingering effects of alcohol, but I suddenly had the urge to tear his shirt open. As if he sensed my gaze, he turned toward me. Our eyes met, and he smiled, waving me over. I walked over and sat beside him. While still talking to his subordinates, he took my hand, placed it in his palm, and gently rubbed it, almost as though he was playing with a toy.

I plunged my hand into the dark, grasping a handle of frozen starlight and bone. As I hauled it out, the air temperature plummeted. The massive, six-foot curve of the Reaper's Scythe manifested, its bone-white steel humming with the screams of a thousand forgotten ghosts. I didn't run. I flickered, activating my Shadow Evasion Skill. The world turned into a gray smear for a microsecond. I reappeared in front of the girl just as the Bao-Feng's shadow eclipsed her. I swung the scythe in a brutal, gravity-defying arc.

“Do you know why? Because she doesn’t drain me. She feeds me. Just as I feed her. We are symbiosis. We are balance. We are what the books never predicted.” “The Council… the Council will want to know about this…” “The Council will find out soon enough.” I tilted my head. “And it will learn.” I extended my hand to the side, and the air tore open in violet and silver. My black scythe slid out of the pocket dimension, the ebony handle fitting perfectly in my palm. The curved blade gleamed, ancient runes pulsing in shades of violet. The leader looked at the scythe. Then at me. “That is… a scythe of death…”

Gaping at the man writhing in pain with a crestfallen face, Skyla blurted out in her mind, "What the f*ck is happening?! Please Moon Goddess, save him!" Skyla's eyes went squinty on seeing the thorns digging deep into the man's upper body. Her still body sitting on the ground with legs folded beside the man slightly jumped and went out of place when Skyla felt something in her hands and overcoat. Her breath hitched in her throat when she could see the blood drops of the man staining her overcoat and hands as the thorns came down and ripped off the man's skin like sharp arrows.

"I have to follow you to make sure that you are my target." "Amature, indeed," Saiya sighed, "So? Have you proved then that I am your target?" "You are the Lord of Shadows. That, I am sure," he said as he readied himself to hit her with his poisonous arrow hidden on the sleeve of his trouser. But he failed. Kane didn't know what happened but something hit him hard at the nape and his sight just went black. He almost fell on the ground unconscious, but Greyn had made sure to catch him.

I answered. “Now, go to the parking behind the apartment nearest to the Han River. Get inside my car. I can automatically open it for you. Just inform me when you get there. Enter on the driver’s side. Then get the clothes under the backseat. Change there. Then call me again. Understand?” Black Dragon explained to me. Even though I hate being commanded, I have to obey him. I knew I already failed on this mission. “Got it.” I cautiously said. “Oh, and remember, keep your eyes open to men having a tattoo on their right back hand. Two swords forming an X.” he finished and I remembered the balloons’ design.
