He tapped a button on his tablet, and the "Simulation Screen" on the wall changed. It was no longer showing the North. It was showing a "Behind-the-Scenes" featurette of the "New Genome" rollout. Silas saw a commercial for ARCHITECTURAL DIVINITY: THE ALPHA SERIES. A human athlete was injecting a vial of "Blackwood Gold" into his arm, his eyes instantly turning a solid, glowing mercury-white as he jumped a twenty-foot wall.

A sleek car was parked right beside the car Mom drove, and the door opened before a guy walked out, dressed in all black with sunglasses on his face. As if sensing my eyes on him, he looked up and we made eye contact for a few seconds before he walked inside. I had the impression that I saw his lips curving, but maybe I got it all wrong. He had to be Jude, my stepbrother. Well, all I could do now was hope that he didn't ask me to bark. Because I definitely wouldn't.

Stephane's breathing gets shallower and shallower, desperate little whimpers escaping him that gives me such an ego boost that my leg muscles refuse to tire out.

I screamed as the shift overtook me, my bones twisting, reshaping, skin tearing. The black wolf emerged, ruthless and wild, trapping my soul behind its eyes.

Richard said, staring at her lifeless body. Gregory stared at the body silently, with disgust in his eyes. ***** Gregory and his wolves stood at their positions in the forest. Camouflaged by the green leaves and trees, they waited silently for the black-burn wolves. After a few minutes, the ground was rumbling. As Gregory felt the grounds unrest, he signaled his men, and they all shifted into their wolves. The Black-burn wolves, who had black as night fur and flaming bule eyes, rushed through the path. Gregory and his wolves were hidden, and Gregory howled loudly, sending another signal to all the wolves.

I told them, and then I returned to standby immediately. My instincts sensed the presence of another pack that was not part of my pack. Then I saw the shadows behind them moving and approaching. My body quickly moved forward. I reached my hand forward and caught the rogue that was already in rogue form. I flanked the part of his head that was caught by my arm. Almost every rogue is savage, but this one's movements are illegible. They don't have a clear pattern, and it's worse than the rogue herd that often appears and withdraws when the situation is unfavorable.
