she yelled after me. I walked into the kitchen to see Blake standing in front of the sink, his hands soapy up to his forearms as he dipped them back into the sink. He had on a tight white tee that showed off his rippling back muscles as he moved around the kitchen. My tongue darted out to wet my lips and I gulped at the sight. I stalked over to him, making sure to be quiet so he wouldn't notice and grabbed his ass, making him jerk in fright.

"Let it go for tonight, man. She's fine." Hardin took a deep breath, reflecting on Blade’s words. Part of him wanted to run back to get Velia and run as fast as they could but he knew they'd just be picked up and dragged back here. And the outcome might be even worse than whatever revenge this Venom already had planned for them. "Fine. I'll trust you. For tonight," Hardin agreed. The shifter nodded. "Good decision. I'm Blade by the way," he added before he turned to go back down the hall.

Dravin looked around and saw that there was nothing left he could do, so he blinked out of existence. He had to go and finish preparing his plan to get the baby, she was more important than fighting those less worthy of his time.
