“You’ve got a lot of nerve showing your face here after everything you’ve done.” To my surprise, Blade doesn’t even try to fight. He raises his hands in surrender, a resigned look on his face. “I’m not here to fight, Rion,” he says, his tone calm, almost weary. “I know when I’m outmatched. Fighting you would be pointless.” His words only serve to infuriate me further. “You betrayed your Alpha, your pack. You plotted treason with Isla and Ezra. Why shouldn’t I kill you right here, right now?”

The housekeeper who gave them to me was fired on the spot, and I never saw her again. “Remove the wrapping,” Chris ordered, shaking his head in annoyance. It took a few tries with my shaking hands to remove the sports wrap hiding the pink skin on the underside of my forearm. The old burn was mostly healed, and I clenched my teeth tight as I waited. Pleading never did any good, not with him. He was his father’s son, ruthless and powerful. There was a reason the Blade’s Edge Pack was known far and wide as one of the strongest in all the territories.

"Yes..." Brady ran both hands through his hair, pacing a small circle next to the table. "I am literally losing my mind right now." Trevor reached out, his fingers gently grabbing the sleeve of Brady's jacket. "I'm really, really sorry, Brady." Brady froze, looking down at Trevor's hand on his sleeve. For a split second, I saw the hard, angry tension in Brady's eyes soften. But before I could even process it, he violently jerked his arm away, grabbed his heavy bag from the table, and stormed off down the path without another word.

With extreme fear, Delilah shook her head vigorously as she pleaded, "Tristan, it's me, Lila! What are you…" A scream echoed through the air as he slapped her harshly across the face. He inserted the dagger between her thighs, his tone frosty as he asked, "Was this what you did to my child?" With each word Tristan spoke, his voice grew quieter. Soon, all that could be heard were Delilah's faint gasps. The live stream flickered with static, but the ban still hadn't been enforced. I felt a chill down my spine as I met his eyes on-screen.

“Until next time!” Although it would not be as convenient to meet again in the future, they would see each other again, so Mable did not feel too sad. Where there was parting, there was bound to be a reunion. Neither Mable nor Rahman were sentimental people. After bidding farewell to Rahman, Mable boarded the plane. He activated the spiritual energy within him, gathering it on his Thunder Blade. The Thunder Blade gleamed with a cold light, and a crimson hue appeared on the blade. "Crazy Blade Strike!" A sharp and fierce blood-red blade light cut through the air, flashing through the moonlit woods. Just as the blade light was about to touch Sebastian's body, a semi-transparent shield appeared in front of him. Clang! When the blade light struck the shield, the shield dissipated, and the blade light was also neutralized. Sebastian was unharmed, showing no signs of damage.

Lucian briefly answered, withholding some information. "Why is he not healing? I need to fully know what happened to him do I can know which treatment I'd give him" Chris instructed sternly. Lucian hesitated for a while, thinking whether to tell him or not. Then he looked at the two nurses who were quick to get the memo and they left. "What was he stabbed with?" Chris pried further. "An enchanted silver dagger" Lucian divulged, earning a gasp from Chris. "That's bad, really bad." Chris chanted, his face showing his worry.

And the crystal dagger on my hand possessed the same crest. “The Balaraw is now officially the Luna’s Blade!” Edith announced and step up the podium with Hadleigh in her arms. And this time, the bitter smile on my lips and the question in my head about the dagger now has a clearer reason. With my free hand, I stretched my hand and carried my blue-eyed little man in my arms. A tear escaped from my eyes as I bent my head to touch Hadleigh’s forehead with mine. “Hence, this is what your father wanted for this thing. And to you, our child, who’ll grow filled with love and courage like a blade.”

I quip loudly. Blade got to his feet and Helen examined me from head to toe from where she sat. Blade was wearing a black flannel shirt with his leather jacket some very nice jeans and shoes. He gave a boyish smile and approached me. "You look beautiful as always," he compliments taking my hand in his. "You looking dashing," I return the compliment with a smile and wink. "Nice outfit," Helen calls and Victor nodded his agreement. "Ready?" Blade asks and I nodded. "Don't wait up for me," I call loudly to Helen and Victor.
