Something seemed amiss. I blinked twice, then again, slowly. The pain in the back of my eyes burned, yet it was subdued—muted. The world wasn't black. It was something else. Liquid light nudged the edges of my vision, like the first hint of day through mist. "Elara?" There came a voice through the mist. Filling. Warm. I shifted my head slightly, and the motion had the sensation of pulling my skull through sandpaper. "Elara, do you hear me?" The voice came closer—Dr. Knox.

But Edna refused to be overwhelmed. Drawing upon her inner strength, Edna channeled her focus into a single, powerful strike. She raised her silver blade high above her head, gathering the energy of her will and determination. With a mighty cry, she brought the blade down, slicing through the flames and cutting a path towards Belial. The blade connected with the demon queen's armor, a resounding clash that sent shockwaves through the chamber. Sparks flew as Edna's silver blade resonated with the pure essence of righteousness, a force that clashed with the darkness emanating from Belial.

It's also very easy to predict where the blade would land, and once countered, it'll be difficult to make a follow up. BLADE 3. Pain. It was all I felt when I shot my eyes opened. I felt so sore and tired. The memories of how Lorenzo plunged deeper into me last night filled my mind. He was so cruel to me. I didn't find any enjoyment in it at all. I tried lifting my hands and I was happy It was back to functioning. My tit hurts too as a result of the sucking he did last night.

No one present—not the three bewildered thugs, nor the whimpering leader, Blade—had clearly seen the move. Skylar Vance’s hand, small and delicate, looked utterly frail, yet it had crushed the muscle and bone of Blade’s thick forearm with casual ease. I shouted. I stepped out from behind Rowan. The obsidian blade in my hand felt different now. It wasn't just a heavy piece of stone. His bronze-colored arm muscles instilled fear in people, while his thick eyebrows and sharp eyes were brimming with might. When he arrived, he rubbed his bald head and asked Trevor in a hoarse voice, "Tell me, who do you want me to kill?"

Blade threw another stone into the water, but this time it didn’t feel playful. His arm around me was tighter than before, like he was holding something fragile he was afraid to lose. “You remember when I told you I loved someone” Blade said slowly. “But she got claimed by someone more powerful than me?” I blinked. “Yes I remember.” My voice came out softer than I expected. Blade didn’t look at me immediately. He picked up a small stone, rolled it between his fingers, then threw it far into the lake.
