I thought Blade would throw another tantrum, but he just walked back to where his jeep was and turned off the engine before throwing his keys to Kingston. “You can tell your men to check it all they want. They can even fucking rub their hands and dick on it the whole night, and I won’t give a damn fuck! But leave my female alone!” He spat at him, still annoyed, and it made me bite my inner cheek. Did he just refer to me as his female? The border fell silent, and all I could hear was Blade’s grunt as he pulled my bags out of his jeep. He then went to me and grabbed my arm before guiding me to the car they said would take us to Alpha Stone.

This was not how I planned it. I stood at the edge of the madness, my fingers tightening around the Silver Blade. Its presence thrummed in my grip, a silent reminder of the power it held. My blood had bonded with it. I could feel it singing to me, begging to be used, to be fed. But not yet. The blade was not for these insects. It was for her. I let out a slow breath, my patience thinning as I watched the battle unfold. The Silver Moon pack was locked in combat with the Moon Blood warriors, their bodies twisting, shifting between forms as they tore into each other.

Like hell she will. At five thirty in the evening, Edge walked into Bluemoon pack hose which was filled with members already. The alpha of Bluemoon pack, Alpha Fenriz, gave a small speech introducing him to the crowd during which Edge’s gaze swept over the people. When he was sure that Light wasn’t there, his face darkened. Edge realised he had made a mistake by letting her leave by herself. Before letting her leave, he had still believed that she was not bad. But she clearly didn’t hesitate to even lie to him and ignore him blatantly. Seems like he had given her too much trust.

“I do, and that’s why I’m not gonna let it happen again. Not to Cruz, not to you, and not to the kid.” My lips trembled. “Don’t make promises you can’t keep.” “I don’t make promises,” Blade said coldly. “I make threats. And whoever took Cruz? They’re already dead men walking.” The air between us snapped with the weight of his words. “Blade…” My voice shook. “What if we’re too late?” “We won’t be.” “You don’t know that.” His jaw flexed, and for the first time, I saw something break through his armor. Fear. Just for a second. “No,” he admitted. “I don’t. But I’ll kill every last one of them until I get to him. That’s the only way I know.”

He nods, surrenders, and I let him slide out of the circle. Edward is next, circling warily, waiting for me to come to him. I oblige, feinting a low strike before twisting the blade and aiming for his thigh where the padding is thinnest. He blocks it with his forearm, grunting, but I see the pain in his eyes. He tries to grab me, but I duck and sweep his legs. He crashes to the mat, and when he tries to rise, I’m ready, pressing the edge of the blade to his neck. He freezes, and I hear his hand tap out on the mat. Three down now.

​Leo didn't even blink. ​With lightning swiftness inherited from his father’s warlord bloodline, Leo pivoted on his heel. The Moonlit Edge erupted into a brilliant streak of silvery-white light as he brought his blade up to parry. CLANG! The deafening screech of colliding steel echoed off the stone walls, sending a shower of sparks into the dim alleyway.

Its dark blade was joined to a white handle that served to provide beauty by contrast. On both weapons were small holes. These holes were located on the handles and the blades of the weapons. Reaper’s Edge had five small holes in its handle, whereas Canyon’s Mouth had nine. However, Reaper’s Edge had ten slots in its blade whereas Canyon’s Mouth had only 6. These holes were the slots for the Energy Stones. They were evenly dispersed based on the size of the weapons. Canyon’s Mouth had a long handle, and that was why it had that many slots in its handle. The same applied to Reaper’s Edge’s blade.

This person wants her to do according to his plan. “I don’t want you to look pathetic in our small movie Crimson Blade. We are currently ‘live’ on YT. What do you think will be the viewer's reaction when they saw your face more clearly? What do you think will the authorities will do when they will see the real face of Crimson Blade that they have a hard time finding? Laugh.” Zitrey eyes widened, ‘Who is it?’ she was so sure whoever it is already heard everything of their conversation. In the next few seconds, her question was answered.

“I told you all she would observe only.” Storm tilts her head. “She didn’t observe.” “No,” Blade says calmly. “She ended it.” Jaylen turns on him. “You let her pick up the hammer.” Blade shrugs. “You didn’t tell me to stop her.” The words land like a challenge. Jaylen opens his mouth, then closes it. There is no response that does not sound like weakness. I feel strange. Light. Like the room is slightly detached from me. My heartbeat is loud in my ears, then suddenly too slow.

“What?” Margo asked, sighing with annoyance. “Woah! I just wanted to buy you a drink.” He said, holding up his hands in surrender. “What for?” She asked, raising a brow even as she continued to walk away. Blade nodded at his men, who were helping pick up Maddog and Thrasher. He quickly followed after this new woman that had his blood rushing south. He wasn’t the type to chase after someone but she was just interesting enough that he didn’t care that she had basically dismissed him with a single look.
