My Big Bad Wolf: Elysia & Alex
Sparks flew from the clash of our blades, bright and alive, and I felt the familiar thrill of a challenge.
Kyan stumbled back, grinning despite himself. “Not bad, fire girl.”
I smirked, tightening my grip. “Try harder.”
We circled each other, blades ready, and then it happened. Sparks again, but this time, they were different. They swirled, catching the sunlight and bending it into a blue flame. I froze, my heart thundering.
Twix’s voice cut across the clearing, calm but urgent. “Step back, both of you.”
I dropped my blade and backed away. Kyan mirrored me, eyes wide. The blue flames grew taller, circling us in slow, hypnotic arcs, casting a strange frost along the grass.
