as he stared at me blankly, I added, " it’s the ancient order of Valhalla Bridge.” He moved so fast and pinned me to the back of the booth, he moved my hair and revealed my pointy ears, as he studied my features he hissed, “Valkyrie?… you are a Valkyrie assassin.” I hissed at him as my claws sharpened on my good hand and I sliced across his face, causing thin lines of blood to drip down his face. I laughed, “I am not an assassin, otherwise you would be dead, I am a hired hand, determined to wipe out your kind.”

As I was righting myself from my fall, I glanced up. Although Terri had been going hard before, she was now clearly giving it her all. She went from simply fighting to killing. She slashed and bit until the moose was sufficiently weakened. Without a second to spare, she plunged her claws into its chest and pulled its pulsing heart out of its chest. She slammed her entire bodyweight into it. The large mammal toppled over and crashed into the snow, splattering its blood and darkening the unsullied white earth.

Jake asked her. "Yeah, won't they hate me." I asked feeling conscious. "no they won't trust me." Jake said as we had dinner in silence. During desert Jake cleared his throat, all attention was drawn to him. All chartering on the table stopped. Every one was looking at Jake and me. I could feel their stares. "I have something to tell you all and it about Anastasia ." Jake cleared his throat. "Son what is it, tell us." His mother said. "Anastasia is an orphan and she is blind also, I know you all are dying to know who she is to me and why I brought her here to the family dinner. Jake said it in one breath. I clearly heard the gasps around the table.

When he looked up, he saw the enormous Silly Husky spirit looming behind Chase. Wait... why did that Silly Husky look exactly like the celestial hound Vex?

She gives me a look that says, Don't you dare call me a pet. "She’s a stray," I lie. I try to sound casual. "She showed up a while back. I think she ran away from a breeder or something. Huskies are known for being runners." Sombra thumps her tail once. It sounds like a threat. Liddy isn't buying it. She walks closer, inspecting Sombra like a piece of furniture with a stain on it. "A stray?" Liddy purses her lips. "That explains why she has no manners. She’s staring at me like she wants to bite me."
