“He’s a grown man, and an Alpha. Trust me, he can last a few hours without you. Besides, I’m sure he’ll be happier seeing you come back with a glowing face, not looking as tired as a patient,” she said, glancing at me briefly.
I couldn’t hold back a small laugh. Alyssa was indeed talkative, but her words held truth.
The luxury salon downtown smelled of lavender. As soon as we entered, the staff greeted Alyssa with utmost respect—it was obvious they already knew her.
