Dominic’s POV I couldn’t breathe. The room felt too small, too tight, like the walls were closing in on me. My gaze stayed locked on the boys—on my sons—as if looking away would make them disappear. Silver grey? Their eyes shone in a silver-grey color? It didn’t make sense. No! It made perfect sense. There was no mistaking it. That colour was carved into my bloodline; it had been passed down through generations of Drogomor Alphas. My father had told me, when I first showed mine, that it was a lineage thing and that no one outside our lineage had it.

My hands trembled slightly as I prepared the needle. “Just a little, Liam,” I murmured softly, steadying my voice though tears pricked my eyes. “Mama’s here. Just a little.” I pricked his skin carefully, drawing the blood into the thin glass vial. My movements were quick, practiced. But the moment I tilted the vial to the light, my entire body froze. The blood… it wasn’t the right color. It wasn’t bright red. It was darker. Almost black at the edges.

He chuckles and nods his head, “it’s exactly what happened at my father and mothers ceremonies, the colours of their dragons emerged in smoke tangling and merging together, like ours are doing right now,” he says while pointing in the direction of the bowl filled with our blood. I look over and sure enough our colours are blending together, making it almost midnight black but you can see the purple shining in there still.

Baby's Ferrari was painted in sea green, Jason's BMW M5 driven by Robert was painted in ocean blue color. Jason’s Lamborghini Gallardo was painted in yellow and the other rides had the same black color since they were not formerly black.
