**Gabe's POV** Warm blood fell over my hands and from her mouth as she let out a surprised cry of pain. And then I twisted them viciously. She let out another cry of pain. Then I pulled my claws from her stomach to shred them into her chest. Blood sprayed from the gash, painting the walls of the cave in a gruesome symphony of crimson and black. Because the blood spurting forth from her mouth was black, not red. “Gabe…you’re…killing me!” she choked out.
