Jason mirrored her, his motion was silent, and his expression unreadable.
They extended their hands over the map. When their joined palms which were covered in blood met, the air thickened, the scent of iron mingling with the wax. A pulse splashed outward, as their energies acknowledged a covenant it could not undo.
Jason’s voice was low, steady.

Erina’s reply was softer but no less.
“By truth and will, by name and night, we seal it.”
