Aurora's eyes flickered, a brief flash of fear breaking through her usually composed expression. "That's what I've been asking myself," she said, exhaling sharply. She paused, gathering her thoughts before continuing, "They may be drawn to what's inside her." She looked away, her gaze distant. "I still need to look into it further.”
My stomach turned.
