Bloody Bones Legacy Novels & Stories

Jameson listened in silence, the dark show in his eyes deepening with every word. When I was done, he exhaled sharply. “You’re deeper in this than I thought.” I met his gaze. “So why don’t you tell me what I need to know.” Jameson was silent for a long moment. Then he spoke. “The Council's foundation is blood, Lena. Old blood. Blood that they’ve been shedding for hundreds of years to maintain their power.” I swallowed. “What does that mean?”

However, what followed next could only be described as a scene pulled out from a horror movie as Nathan's bones suddenly started to pop and crack as dark hair sprouted from every single area on his body, little by little shifting and rearranging until a large and completely black beast stood in his stead. ________________________

"I’m the Update. And you... are the Legacy-Waste." The boardroom floor opened up, and a flood of Black-Ink-Code began to pour into the Celestial-Rink, drowning the stars, the wolves, and the White Wolf alike.

Tanner steps forward, just a little, just closing the distance between us to make a point and my heart picks up a beat. “The girl belonged to Silas.” He growls. “She’s his mate. She was stolen by the Blood Rose Pack over a year ago and that’s how Luca died. Silas came to claim her back and they refused to hand her over. They claim her life is forfeit but they killed Luca, not her. And now, when Silas tried to fight for his mate, they kill him and claim her as their mate instead. They’re playing you. They know the sanctity of a mate-bond, that’s why they’re using it now so that you won’t refuse them.”

Along with that was a check with a terrifyingly large figure, assets like yachts, antiques, calligraphy, paintings, real estate, and business dividends—altogether adding up to an astronomical sum. And it was presented mercilessly on the page. “One billion dollars!” I was stunned by the figure and quickly tried to reject it. "Trevor, I can't accept this!" I said firmly. Trevor shook his head. "This is your mom’s inheritance. My father kept it for her for many years. It should rightfully go to you," he insisted. I was left speechless. To be honest, if anyone else were in my shoes, they’d be excited by such a fortune.

The only thing you ever inherited was your mother’s cruelty. The whole place went silent. I could feel the tension charged between us like electric waves. Camille looked like she had seen a ghost, her expression stuck somewhere between shock and pain. ‘Liora,’ Helena whispered, already rising as if to hit me. Camille dashed out of the room, her sobs following her. Helena became confused between going after her daughter or hitting me. She later settled on going after her daughter, leaving me alone with my father’s corpse. ‘We’d want to wheel him to the morgue now,’ the nurse said to me in a calm tone.

The candles flickered, casting shadows that reached like arms. Outside, the fog had returned. It crept under the cracks in the Bone House walls, quiet and slow. Underneath their boots, the floorboards trembled. Just once. A heartbeat in the bones. And they all knew: the dreams were only the beginning. Something old had noticed them. And it had started to listen.

were, they wanted the journal, and they wouldn’t stop until they had it. “You think I’m afraid of your little games?” Luca said, his voice cold. “You don’t know who you’re dealing with.” The rogue chuckled weakly. “Oh, I know exactly who I’m dealing with. The so-called Bound Alpha. The golden boy destined to save us all.” He spat on the ground, his expression twisting with disdain. “You’re just a pawn, Moreau. And when the time comes, you’ll see just how expendable you really are.”

Jai-Blynn has her suppressed, and apparently, she's counting on Kinna to save her from it. Kinna's palms finally open. Only Marelyn and I know what we glimpsed there before they disappeared. We saw symbols. In her right palm, the Celtic symbol of fire and water was joined together to form what looked like light and life. Her left palm showed us her silver blood. She's a bloodline, and she's not just any legacy werewolf, but a true Legacy, who can control both elements.

Just a curved piece of old bone resting on two iron pegs. I walk over to it and run my thumb along the sharp edge of the ivory. Julian worshipped this thing. He looked at this fang with more reverence than he ever looked at me. He threw me to the wolves to keep his pack’s legacy intact. Now, his legacy is a dust-catcher in my office. I draw my thumb back. A tiny bead of dark red blood wells up on my skin. I press the bloody fingerprint directly into the center of the bone, staining it.
