Bloody Bones Legacy Novels & Stories

Even if I had to, I'd drag someone down with me. A rusty axe lay in the corner of the cabin, left behind after chopping firewood. Without hesitation, I grabbed it and swung at the lock. A loud clang echoed across the entire pack's territory, sending birds scattering from the rooftops. After a dozen swings, my arms burned with pain. The lock finally snapped. I shoved the door open and bolted. Under the moonlight, my skin gleamed an eerie violet. Clearly, the wolfsbane had seeped into my bones.

“You know it’s not that simple, not to mention this legacy my mother’s always going on about.” “What’s the point of being king of Lycans and werewolves if you can’t do what’s best for us?” Frost countered, his tone turning serious. “Tell me, what’s more important: that legacy or your happiness?” Frost eased up on the teasing, speaking more earnestly. He and Andriel were one; if Andriel’s human side perished, Frost would too, and that was something he wasn’t willing to let happen.

Her skin seemed colder. Her lips were a bit blue and appeared to be a bit of blood inside her nostrils. My body shook with fear. Widened eyes refused to unseen the view. My heart leaped into my throat as I shrunk back and stood there voiceless. "She died seventy years ago, but even today, her blood flows out of her vein proves this place is cursed." His words throbbed inside me. I left with nothing but a numb body when he explained further.

Just the man I saved—and the man who was currently breaking my heart. "What are you doing here, Mr. Cromwell?" I asked, my voice trembling. "The 'Legacy' is inside." "The Legacy is a lie," he said, taking a step into the moonlight. "And you shouldn't be talking to Velez. He’s a vulture, Hannah. He doesn't want your talent. He wants to take the only thing I have left that's real." He didn't call me 'Martin.' He didn't mention the footage. He just stood there, the distance between us filled with the things he was too proud to say.

The iron barred door slams, lock clanking, and he’s gone. I slump down into a heap, blood dripping and the ring pulsating. ”Besides, that Bloodstone is my legacy, my chance to have real heirs. You know Vampires and Wolves can’t have children do you? It’s like a virus blocking our reproduction system” he snarled. Resurrection? What the hell’s he raising? Breeding? My mind spins—what if it’s worse? An undead army, old vampires clawing up from graves to march for him?

“I am what he became. What the Oath carved from him. What he carved from himself.” It stepped closer, bones clicking. “I am the memory of him you carry.” Lyra’s throat tightened. “Why show me this? Why him?” “Because bone is truth.” The skull leaned forward. “Blood lies. Flesh bends. Only bone remembers.” Lyra took a shaky breath. “And what does it remember about me?” The skeleton lifted a hand, each joint turning with delicate menace. “Everything.” *** The world erupted. The skeleton lunged faster than thought. Lyra dodged instinctively, rolling across the bone floor as shards of ribcage cracked where she’d been standing. The creature struck again, and again—each swing heavy with the force

I was trapped in the past, buried in these damn history books like I was trying to dig up my own answers from centuries ago. My fingers flipped another fragile page, the parchment delicate beneath my touch. The text was faded in some areas, but the heading caught my eye: The Blood Legacy of the Bluestone Alpha Line. I leaned in, my eyes scanning every word like it might tell me something new. I’d already pieced together most of it from Ava, Christian, and Tyler over the past few days. But hearing it from their lips wasn’t the same as reading it with my own eyes. The Second Life Gene.

The real threat was coming through the walls. Think. Think. We had no magic. No army. We had Vorian’s own map in our heads, and a tomb full of dead Blackwoods. The map. The service conduit. It was our only way out, but it was sealed behind us, and Vorian would be coming from that direction. We were in a bone-lined dead end. Then, my eyes fell on the bones themselves. Not as a barrier, but as a message. A legacy. This was Kaelen’s history. His blood. His ancestors. Their silence was a weight, but it was also a presence.

Couldn't blood restrain the White Jade Bone Claw? The Blood Emperor roared. The White Jade Bone Claw was full of strength and indestructible. The Blood Emperor roared nonstop, but it was useless. Seeing that he was about to be dragged into the void rift, the Blood Emperor snarled. He raised his blade and chopped off his leg. Blood Emperor's leg didn't have any flesh or skin. It only had white bones wrapped with blood. Therefore, the White Jade Bone Claw dragged the bones of a leg into the void rift.
