It looked very polished and clean with stone floors that looked glassy under soft lamps, glass walls that caught every reflection.
A young woman in a marine-blue uniform appeared behind the counter, her silk scarf tied neatly at her throat.
She smiled brightly. “Welcome. Your villa is ready. Please, follow me.”
We trailed behind her, dragging bags and yawning.
The villa itself made my breath catch as it looked like a dream under the moonlight. Two floors, a balcony wrapping around the top, an infinity pool spilling over like it was part of the sea.
White and turquoise sunbeds lined the terrace, bamboo frames casting slim shadows on the stone.
