Blue Glow Background Novels & Stories

It was a beautiful sight to behold, one I couldn't help but grin at. "This is beautiful," I admitted softly, looking around at all the numerous tiny flowers glowing all around us. "It is," came Alpha Evan's even softer reply and I looked at him, only to find him already looking at me. I felt my cheeks heat up, squirming a little under his intense gaze. "What are all these flowers? I've never seen flowers that could glow like that." "They're called nocte caeruleo. Literally translating to blue night. These are a special type of flowers that glow bright blue when they bloom at the stroke of midnight every fourteen years before they go back to sleeping," Alpha Evan explained, finally looking at

she urged. I was having a huge brainstorm and it was bliss. I carefully curated a palette of shimmering whites, creams, and pale grays, evoking the moon's gentle glow. “Okay,” I said, surprised by my creativity that evening. I had a flashback of my night with Xavier under the moon. “Why don't we throw in some blue?” I thought. I added a hint of iridescent blue, like the moon's subtle shimmer in the night sky. The colors seem to shift and change as the light catches them, just like the moon's phases.

Marian had spun on her heel, they had reached the borderland between the infants and tweens clothing, a tauntingly wide aisle. “But not yet?” “Blue…” “He’s not as awful as you think,” “You may have been too young to remember how serious his arrest was, but I wasn’t.” Blue turned on her heel, leaving her mother standing on the cusp of childhood purgatory. She returned to the male infant clothing. “Blue…” “I’m not mad,” She glanced to her mother, retrieving the same train sweater in a powder yellow. She quite liked the red and dandelion together. Wished she could find one in her size. Snorted quietly at the thought. “I get it.”

El stifled a groan and turned to Lucas, who looked utterly mortified. "Right, back to class, folks!" The Principle shuffled his chair back as he stood, vaguely gesturing with one arm. They filed out of the office into the main hallway, where the magnolia paint was peeling off the walls in places, revealing a pale green underneath. "Psychiatric green", El had once told her, thought to be a calming colour. Lucas took off down the hall, slamming a locker door as he went. "Well, that's just great," El grumbled.

Sid interjected with a wry smile. Blue frowned, he knew that Sid was telling the truth. He knew that his Divine Power was too destructive for a mere Saint’s body. However, to wait posed the question of how long. Exasperated, Blue had no choice but to use the Feather family’s innate skill. He reached out his right hand where a blue glow began to form. With a wave of his hand, the glowing ball of blue flew across the air and blanketed Sid. Cloaked by a blue glow, Sid felt his body warm up as if it was bathing under the comforting sunlight.

•• 📅 ( SIX MONTHS LATER ) •• - - - Inside the venue is a blue and white color theme venue. The ceiling is adorned with cascading crystal strings and chandeliers, creating a sparkling effect against a dark background. Tables and areas decorated with matching blue and white floral clusters, paired with tall clear glass accents. A remarkably handsome man stood waiting on a white aisle that stretched toward a stage adorned with floral walls, their gradient blue-and-white arrangements framing a monogram logo.

My voice cut through the noise. "Does anyone have nightbloom reagent? The blue solution from Professor Reeves's alchemy class." A girl near the front frowned, dug through her bag, and held up a small glass vial of blue liquid. "I carry it for notes. What do you need it for?" I scraped a pinch of dust from the deepest claw mark and dropped it into the vial. The blue solution swirled once, twice, then bloomed into vivid pink. Someone gasped. "That's nightbloom grass!"

The clearer and brighter the glow, the higher the rank of our essence. The girls before me leaned in one by one, their energies spilling into the sphere in soft pulses of blue or green. One particularly bold candidate filled it with a fierce golden light that drew gasps from the crowd. I observed them all carefully so I could understand how the crystal worked and see if it might be manipulated.

“Impossible.” “What?” Mia asked. I turn to my niece and her mate. “What do you know about Methylene Blue?” I asked. “It was lab created to help cure malaria.” Mia said, quite academically too. “It also has healing benefits for wounds.” Luca added. “Correct. However, Nyx’s blood isn’t just blood. It glows blue because her DNA is naturally creating Methylene Blue and the Chemiluminescence compound found in the blood is making it glow. This could be why water is a safe haven for Thalia. Subconsciously, Nyx was probably needing the microorganisms in the water to maintain her DNA, since she was trapped.”

I gasp. My eyelids fly open. “What is it?” Mitch asks with great interest. Standing, as well. Blue had not been a hue I’d contemplated, for fear it would meld right into the ocean scenery. No, I want something that grabs and commands attention. I immediately visualize a shade so rich and brilliant, a blue-turquoise so sensational, it truly would be a beacon. Turquoise and white. With a darker blue or possibly black as a faint enhancement around the fringes to make it all pop.
