On a faithful night, Ravenna is faced with the irresponsible actions of her father. As she was brought to a huge manor in the countryside she found out her father is indebted to a mafia lord, a vampire no less as well. In order to motivate her father to pay off his debt, Ravenna is taken into Lord Dimitri's life as his pet for a year. Ravenna is met with a world she had no idea existed. Vampire society was vastly different from her simple human life where she cleaned after the rich in the hopes of making it one day as one of them. She needs to learn her place as a vampire's pet as well as other social rules the pale blood-sucking creatures follow.
