A vow of hate
"Look, Mommy! Can we ride the wiggly worm?"
I scanned the coaster. It wasn't too high, with gentle twists and turns perfect for a first roller coaster experience. "Of course, my little adventurer!"
Valerie’s face lit up with a grin that could rival the sun. We secured ourselves in the brightly colored caterpillar car, me holding her close. As the ride began, Valerie squealed with delight, her hands gripping the bar in front of her with a white-knuckled grip. But as we navigated the gentle slopes and turns, her grip loosened, replaced by a wide-eyed wonder. "Look, Mommy! We're flying!" she declared, her voice filled with awe as we reached the crest of a small hill.
