He began contemplating death. I turned another. Still death. “No.” I put it back. The sixth was poetry. Better. I opened near the middle. Grain. I read the next poem. Also grain. I checked farther back. Rain. Then grain after rain. I closed the book. Six Veyrathi books. Not one romance. This was a catastrophe of modest but genuine proportions. I looked at the shelf again in case a seventh had developed while I was reading about grain. It had not.

Hunter enters the room and sees June sitting on the bed surrounded by books. She looked up at him and sat up. "It's a good thing you're back. I have some questions." He began unbuttoning his coat and looked at her with a raised eyebrow. "Go ahead. Ask away." "I want to know about werewolves. You stopped me from picking out that book in the library, and I want to know why." Hunter froze and tilted his head back a bit, looking down his nose at the floor. He slid off his coat and hung it up, its royal blue almost distracting June from keeping eye contact.

Though the thoughts about him were forefront now, because I still hadn't come to terms with what almost happened, I had to stop thinking about it now. Maybe later I would take my time to understand it. Maybe. I opened the book slowly, my fingers tracing the frayed and worn edges of the cover, "the chronicle of the six" it stood boldly in gold lettering glaring at me. The letters shimmered faintly and I quickly turned open the first page. "This is the Chronicle of the Six. The first beings born of the moon's light. This record holds their power, their dominion... and the truth before the Great Divide."

Klark, ‘Tribid Greed’ by Steve Reynolds, and a lot of other books. One by one Trisha returned all the books she'd picked. When she was beginning to get tired and unmotivated, the corner of her eyes perceived a strange book on a shelf not too far from where she was. Its spines were tattered and appeared like spiky wires beneath the poor lighting.

I told her. “Is that Six’s car outside?” She asked amusingly. “Yes?” I squeaked. “I won’t tell the boys, but be careful, okay?” She hugged me. “I will,” I said, hugging her back. I thankfully made it out without seeing my dad or Noah. Six was leaning on his car by the time I got out, and he surprised me by opening the door for me. I got in after thanking him, and he closed the door before coming around to enter on his side. His whole car smells as heavenly as he does, which I guess makes sense.

It’s all about faith. °°° The story ends here. Thanks for reading. Follow me on my I*, and get to know about my next book which is about their kids. Also, read my another book Beta Nocholas. It's a werewolf romance. Thanks again :)

Both books are combined together, and Abhimanyu's book is titled *Taken: King's Rights Reserved*. ... Thank you, ShineeSunshine ❤️

MISTAKE MISSION Ian and June were in the library, looking through the shelves when Ian felt June tug in his jacket. Ian looked at June raised his eyebrows, silently asking what June wanted. June bit his lips and pointed up to the top shelf. "I think, I saw the book I need," June mumbled, "I can't reach it though." Instead of reaching for the book from his side, Ian moved in front of June. Ian caged June between himself and the shelf.

I wasn’t sure what made me think of her, but we needed all the help we could get. “I’ll summon her,” Tobias said. The stench now further permeated the air, and my mind flashed back to the red book in the library. Also the huge book that Georgia had been in. Raining fire. Then ash. Open fire pits in the ground. It’s happening. How did they get out of it before? Georgia’s book. I had to get it. It happened so fast I barely registered it, but out of my peripheral vision I saw Katrina drop a white bird down the front of her loose dress.
