S.I.X: The Mafia's Kryptonite
It was bittersweet.
I sat in the dining room for a little while, picking at the fruit, flipping another page.
After a while, I slipped outside. The air was warm, but not too hot. I curled up on one of the lounge chairs under the shade, pulling my knees to my chest, the book still open in my lap.
My eyes were tired, but I couldn’t stop. Page after page. I didn’t even realize how deep I’d fallen in until I caught something strange.
There was a different page, near the back. Another handwritten note. Six’s handwriting. I lightly traced the pattern like I could touch him.
